Great experience! We went... - Great experience! We went as a date, and it was fun for us to learn about Houston's history from the perspective of a visitor. So many things we didn't know!

Tunnel Your Way Through Downtown - My wife and I did the tour on June 6. Our tour guide was Diana. The tour was enjoyable and even though I’ve lived in Houston 28 years and frequented the tunnel many times I learned a lot about Houston and the tunnel system. The tour highlighted a couple of buildings that have art deco features and are beautiful along with the Pennzoil building. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Diana was a great tour guide.

Highly recommend to do first day in Houston. - Dana was a fantastic guide. A wealth of interesting information. Ensured everyone included in group. Third time to Houston but first time in tunnels, should have done first time but didn’t know about them. Thought downtown was very quiet. Highly recommend.

Fun and informative walking tour - I recommend this activity to tourists and Houstonians alike (I lived in Houston for 10 years and still learned so much on this tour)! It was well paced and really showed what the tunnels have to offer. But the real surprise, and what made the tour worth the price, was all the fascinating information about Houston and Texas history, architecture, business leaders, and so on. Our guide, Diana, was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Her enthusiasm made the tour a lot of fun.

Great for Houstonians and Visitors - This was an amazing tour. I have lived in Houston all of my life (1966). One of things I love is discovering my city. I have also been in the tunnel but this guided tour was more informative than I could have put together. Regardless of the number of years you have lived in Houston or just visiting, this is a beautiful, unique, and interesting tour.

Our experience was great.... - Our experience was great. My wife and I had a great tour guide, Diana, who was amazing. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the tour tunnel facts. She even gave us some great dining options during our stay in Houston. I would highly recommend this tour with Diana as the tour guide. If I have family or friends visiting Houston for the very first time and looking for a great tour I would highly recommend this one.

Glad I did this. - Ive not done a tour like this before. I never thought I would either. But it was really worth it. Diana, our guide, was so excellent. I kept thinking her passion and knowledge was almost "wasted" on us. Not because I didn't truly absorb her love for history, cities, people and all things interesting, but because she is a text book of knowledge, with professionalism, approachability, and knowledge, and she probably isn't getting paid enough for her efforts. So I would say if you're able, tip big at the end so she can store up and explore the world some more one day. Or even start her own tourism business and bless the patrons with her own creativity and spunk.
