Pala-U Waterfall - Arrive at Pala-U Waterfall and trek through the jungle to find the perfect spot for swimming. The name “Pa La-U Waterfall” comes from the Karen word “La-U,” meaning “bamboo,” as the area is rich in bamboo. Located within Kaeng Krachan National Park, it spans approximately 437,000,000 square meters of lush nature and wildlife. Visitors can easily spot wildlife such as gibbons, elephants, hedgehogs, and rare birds like red-headed trogons, green-billed malkohas, great slaty woodpeckers, and rusty-breasted cuckoos, making it an ideal location for bird watching. The waterfall features 15 cascades, each uniquely beautiful. Climbing to higher levels becomes increasingly challenging, and staff recommend ascending only to the 5th level due to the steep and secure path.
