Pisco Nietto - At 10:30 AM, meet your guide and fellow travelers at the designated location for a short drive to the Pisco Nietto winery, one of the most esteemed artisanal distilleries in the area. Here, you’ll embark on a guided tour through the entire pisco-making process - from grape cultivation and traditional fermentation methods to copper still distillation. Stroll among ancient clay vessels and modern barrels as your guide shares the rich history of Peru’s national spirit. Then comes the highlight: tasting time! Sample a variety of piscos and pisco-based liqueurs, ranging from sharp and aromatic to smooth and sweet. Learn to identify different flavor profiles - and perhaps even purchase a bottle or two to take home. Return to the oasis around 1:30 PM, with the afternoon free to relax.
