A Journey Through Time and Nature

As I embarked on the Hualien Light Mountain & Sea Tour, I was filled with anticipation. The promise of exploring Taiwan’s natural and cultural wonders was irresistible. The journey then took us to the Guangfu Sugar Factory Cultural Park, a place steeped in history. Originally built during the Japanese colonial period, the factory played a significant role in Taiwan’s sugar industry. Walking through the park, I was transported back in time, surrounded by vintage machinery and exhibits that told the story of the region’s industrial past. It was a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the workers who once toiled here, their legacy preserved in the very walls of the factory.

Tranquility at Liyu Lake

Our adventure concluded at Liyu Lake in Taroko National Park, a place of unparalleled beauty. Surrounded by majestic cliffs and tranquil waters, the lake offered a sanctuary for reflection and relaxation. As I sat by the water’s edge, I was enveloped by a sense of peace, a reminder of the harmony that exists between nature and humanity.
