• Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road) - Known as the ‘No. 1 commercial street in China,’ Nanjing Road has long been a city landmark. Stretching 5.5 kilometers, it hosts over 600 shops, attracting approximately 1.7 million visitors daily. Here, you can find everything from affordable souvenirs to luxurious global brands. The area also features the thinnest building on Ningbo Road, known as the Paper Building (纸片楼). Once reported by the British Daily Mail as possibly the world’s flattest and thinnest building, it resembles a piece of paper when viewed diagonally. Despite its unusual shape, the building houses numerous residents.

Afterward, head to Pudong to explore Shanghai’s financial district and visit the Oriental Pearl Tower.
