Great trip with fantastic guide - We did this trip as a getaway from the city of Shanghai. What a great trip it was. Our guide Tony has guided us to the various stops (2 old towns and of course the mountains). He was able to tell a lot about the area through factual information and all kinds of fun stories.

A special mountain, thanks Suki - A wonderful experience. Even the mountains in China are crowded in August, but our excellent guide Suki, thanks to her inexhaustible energy, managed to provide an unforgettable experience. Lots of stairs, both up and down: a good level of physical fitness is required. The food was good. The hotels (4 stars) were adequately equipped with the necessary amenities. The park, beautiful in terms of its natural beauty and landscape, is equipped with "science-fiction" facilities and services—huge and expensive structures that blend seamlessly into the environment. A thinks to the workers and porters who endure the strain every day. Thanks again to our guide Suki for her expertise, attention, and energy, and for the special place she took us to, immersed in silence despite the crowds. ...

A special mountain. Thank you Suki! - Beautiful experience. In August even the mountains are crowded in China, but our talented guide Suki managed, thanks to his inexhaustible energy, to make us live an unforgettable experience. Many stairs, uphill and downhill: adequate physical fitness is required. Good food. Hotels (4 stars), adequate and equipped with the necessary services. The park, naturalistically and beautifully landscaped, is equipped with "science fiction" facilities and services: immense and expensive works well integrated into the environment. A recognition for workers and wearers who face fatigue every day. Thanks again to our guide Suki for the expertise, attention and energy shown and for the special place where he took us immersed in silence, despite the crowds.

Surreal experience on... - Surreal experience on this tour! Our tour guide, Suki, was professional, mindful, and spoke good English. Throughout the 3-day tour, Suki was passionate to share her immense knowledge about the area. She led our visit to Tunxi Village, Hongcun Village, and the Yellow Mountain very well. My family and I felt very comfortable with the pace of the tour, and we really liked how Suki frequently checked in on us to make any necessary changes to our schedule and itinerary in oder to suit our preferences. We made a special request to visit Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory, where we learned how traditional Chinese ink sticks are made. This was done before our drive to the Yellow Mountain cable car station. The hike around the Yellow Mountain was engaging. The paths are paved and consist mostly of steps, but there are lots of places to rest and enjoy the view, so it is challenging but comfortable even for people with less hiking experience. We were fortunate to have good weather on the 1st day of the climb to enjoy the beautiful scenery and take fantastic photos, but it rained the next morning and we missed the sunrise. The hotel we stayed at overnight was big and very clean, and the room was equipped with a heated drying rack for our wet clothes. Suki made arrangements to drop us at Xidi Ancient Village where we will stay a night. It was a trip to remember and thanks Suki for making the difference.

Mount Huangshan - the views to die for - Hiked up the back mountain Yungu entrance about 2 1/2 hours. If want it easy, can take the cable car. Grand Canyon steps the most beautiful, also hard climbing. At the bottom got train to take you back with beautiful view to Yungu cable car. Need to experience it at least once in your lifetime.

Amazing trip to Huangshan - Our family of four had an amazing trip to Huangshan and Hong cun with trippest travel and our guide Rain. Though the weather wasn’t at first on our side, he made arrangements and adjusted the trip so that we would’nt have wanted it any other way. Rain was so serviceminded, thoughtful and nice to be around, that it made our trip carefree and just wonderful. Our driver was also really nice and drove very safely. Huangshan is such a surreal place to visit and we couldn’t have been in better hands. From the moment we were picked up at the trainstation, we had an amazing time. We highly recommend Rain and trippest.

Well worth the trip! - Myself and my mum did this trip from Shanghai and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the tour! All of the places we explored could fill more than 3 days, but if you are strapped for time it is the perfect inclusion to get an experience of regional china. We stayed at The International Hotel in Huangshan - this is the only thing I would request to change if you had the opportunity. Huangshan comes to life at night time, after dinner, and the town is lit up in vibrant lights, people are out in the parks dancing and singing and it was an amazing unexpected part of our time in the city. But the International Hotel is far out of the way from all this, so we had a long walk back when we were ready to retire for the night. If you do stay there, it is worth the trek into the city centre. The mountain is full of stairs and will require some cardio fitness. The views were absolutely breath taking and obviously the highlight. When we first arrived there was a thick fog, so during this time all there was to do was sit at the hotel. They did have wine and beer, but other alcohol was BYO if drinking is something you would be interested in doing to pass time. Otherwise throw in your book or download some movies on your phone to fill time just in case - we didn't take our books because we were told to take a small pack with only essentials for the 1 night on the mountain. There is a spa with some massage packages available if your budget allows. Once the fog cleared we spent a few hours walking around and taking in the views. You absolutely have to get up for sunrise, it will be crowded with every other person on the mountain - but it is magical. Our tour guide was trained for big groups and gave very baseline information on the locations (compared to other tours we had done). So if you're looking for in depth knowledge on a more personal level, this tour is not ideal for that. If you're happy walking through and taking your own time to discover information it's great. 10/10 would recommend.

Do it! You’ll regret not doing it! - A must do - the mountains are something else and the walking paths breathtaking. Not for the unfit person I would say. Stairs and paths are narrow. Be prepared for any weather conditions. Staying on the mountain was awesome! My tour guide Tony, spoke very good English and was knowledgeable, friendly and very flexible with any requests. Hongcuo village is a very cool place to visit with the running commentary from your guide
