Only few buses per day, check new departure times - Watch out, bus times have been reduced ridiculously without notice on the website. Today, the first bus left at 10:30, the next one at 12:00. No 40min gaps, no chance to leave the bus, if you do not want to spend 1,5 hours on one stop. We are hop-on bus fans but in Hué you are charged 499.000 ( Hanoi 450.000) and get the lowest service. The higher oil price was given as excuse but 2 days ago in Hanoi with the Iran war being in the 3rd week there was no cut on buses. See pictures for details.

Don’t waste your money - Very disappointed with this experience and wouldn’t recommend it. Most of the audio units on the bus were either not working or constantly crackling, making it difficult to follow anything. When they did work, the commentary often cut off mid-sentence, and there was random, quite unpleasant music playing in between. We had planned to use the bus again later in the day once it cooled down, but were told the last bus was at 3pm, despite our ticket stating a 6pm finish. This was extremely frustrating and meant we didn’t get the value we paid for. Overall, it felt very poorly organised and quite a rip-off.
