Scenic mystical railway journey - Well organized and a fun journey The scenery following the the coast was a gem. To cap it there was an entertainment carriage complete with two singers decorated Vietnamese style with cuisine and beverages for sale. The train stops half way to allow a stretch and photo session. The diesel love dates back to 1968. A great experience

Nice experience - Nice experience, and nice nature. Good seats. More stretches here where you get to look outward and you sit on the left side in the cabin you get the best view. Can be recommended

Scenic travel - A nice leisurely trip to Hue that has nice seats and good food with entertainment. What’s not to like. Try a forward right side seat if you have a choice.

nice trip - A different trip and not the same like in Swizerland and off cours a differnt prize. The weather was not from the best side but we still enjoy the whole trip. We took the tourist train 1405 from Hue to Da Nang, and suggest to take this train in one or othere direction

Great trip, book through more direct channels - Great train trip, comfortable seats. However we realised this is just as easy to book via Vietnam Rail or Baolau, and costs way less to do it that way.

Train is quite slow and... - Train is quite slow and waiting time is sometimes too long in some stops while waiting for opposite train to pass

Not as euphoric as others - As beautiful as the ride is scenic, it takes that long. You feel like you're on the road forever. Once you have been assigned the wrong side of the train, you can only see something from the view when you get up. Worst case is wrong side and then still driving backwards. Can't really recommend this train ride.

You’re not actually booking any tickets just “requesting” tickets that probably don’t exist. - I booked two tickets on their website danangtohuebytrain.com the night before for the train of 7:45 the morning after. It says on the website not to book 5 hours or less before the departure which was respected, I booked around 10:30pm. I received an email confirmation, and I knew they hadn’t charged my card for the tickets so I figured they were just booked but I would have to pay at the train station (as there is no information on their website or on the email I received, that’s what I thought). When I get to the train station at 7:20am, I get told by the lady at the ticket desk that she couldn’t find my tickets ( I told her I still had to pay), so I ask if we could just buy two tickets for the train, she tells me they’re sold out. So I call the company and I ask why there are no tickets to my name and the person on the phone says that they are not Vietnam railways and that what I booked was just a “request” to get train tickets. Furthermore she says that since I booked last night they wouldn’t get back to me until the morning ( when they were already sold out). So this lovely lady tells me to just buy the ticket at the station, as if I didn’t just tell her that the train was sold out, which I reiterate to her and she replies that I should just take a bus to Hue since the train was sold out. I don’t understand that their platform is not directly buying the train tickets but there is no explanation, no information on the website or on the email, I have to call them to find out that my tickets actually were never mine. What makes me even more mad about this situation is that instead of being understanding to me as the client, they just tellement to take a bus, not even apologizing for the misunderstanding. Their lack of professionalism is alarming and I would advise you to just directly book through vietnam railways if you want to ACTUALLY BUY a train ticket.

Paid for tickets that didn't exist - Purchased tickets for the train from Hue to Da nang, got our tickets fully paid for ( charged on my card).... Only to find out at the railway station that their were no seats booked under that ticket..... So we missed out on the scenic train ride, but had to hire a car at extra cost to get to Da nang.... Very disappointing and will be interesting to find out there response
