Desert delights - We had the most incredible time on the Hurghada Star Watching Desert Adventure by Jeep with Dinner – it truly exceeded all expectations and was one of the highlights of our trip. A very special thank you to Muhammad Ramadan, our English-speaking guide, who made the entire experience unforgettable. His English was perfect, and he was so warm, friendly and genuinely caring throughout. He went above and beyond to look after our son (who was about to turn 7 at the time), making him feel included and comfortable, which meant so much to us. He made the whole experience feel really personal. From start to finish, everything was amazing. The jeep ride through the desert was so much fun, and watching the sunset across the vast, peaceful landscape – far away from the city – was absolutely breathtaking. We loved meeting the local family, especially their daughter Hadisha, who was brilliant and so confident with the camels. It was clear the animals are very well cared for, which was lovely to see. We also had the chance to learn how to make traditional bread with the ladies, which was such a special and authentic experience. Muhammad showed us the local area where vegetables are grown for nearby hotels, and we even picked some fresh produce ourselves. The tomatoes, cucumber and aubergine were incredibly fresh and full of flavour – you could really taste the difference. The evening meal under the stars was just magical. To top it all off, Arabi gave a fascinating and engaging explanation of the stars, which brought the whole experience together beautifully. Having both Arabi and Muhammad sharing their knowledge made it even more special. This was such a unique, authentic and memorable experience – we would recommend it to anyone visiting Hurghada. Thank you again to Muhammad Ramadan and the whole team for such a truly unforgettable day.

Aries on the Horizon - Exactly what I was expecting and more! The Jeep ride through the sandy desert was super exhilarating! I wish the camel ride was a bit longer...but grateful to do it. The sunset and walk around the village with the dinner was nice. But the telescope to see the moon and planets BLEW my mind!! The instruction of the stars and constellations was awesome! Thank you!

5 stars for Arabi - It was just great and super relaxed, even though we had a lot on our hands. Our tour guide Arabi was extremely funny and responded really well to us. And he explained everything really great and entertaining. He alone has 5 stars. The photographer was also really great. The pictures really nice and even priced really well.

Great - I would have liked to award more than 5 stars:-) - It was absolutely great. Even now - days after we are back in Germany - I am still overwhelmed when I think back to the trip to the desert. The day started with a punctual pick-up at the hotel. Since other holidays were picked up after us, we all sat a bit pressed in the jeep. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the relative wind ensured pleasant temperatures. Which brings us to the first point, which has caused enthusiasm among the children. Because the driving style of our dear driver was the hit. We just flew across the desert over the hills. You felt like you were on a roller coaster. The entire carpool therefore reached the desert well shaken but boisterous and laughing warmly. Once in the desert, we were informed about the course of the day over a cosy tea. Our guide Arabi and a very nice young photographer introduced themselves. Then we went to the camels. I know that camels can carry a lot more than me... but when I saw that the camels had to bend down every time to make vacationers ascend... well what can I say. We all know this when you have to lift your weight and then have something on your back - the poor joints... Anyway, I refrained from sitting on a camel and instead only lifted my daughter to one. When the nice camel guide heard this, he gave me the leash and I was allowed to lead the camel. What can I say - to guide this huge, cozy and powerful animal through the desert was overwhelming. The camel guide told me all sorts of things about the beautiful animal during this and even took pictures of me and my daughter for free. And I have to say: He is fantastic at it!:-) I don't remember his name, but he was very affectionate with us and also with his 2 animals. At that point, I thought it couldn't get any better. And then we drove up a hill to watch the sunset. Surrounded by cold stone and mountains - in the far distance the sea. We sat on the hill, comfortable pillows beneath us, while a warm, gentle wind blew and the sun's rays slowly but slowly swallowed up by the horizon. Everything was so harmonious. You felt like you were at one with the people and the world around you. After this picturesque sunset we went back to the village. We were shown around, were able to see the traditional baking of bread and the cultivation of various fruits and vegetables, taste lemons and eat a freshly harvested cucumber. To the delight of the children always with them: the village cat.:-) We were also in a small shop. There were reasonable fixed prices there and we took a perfume cream and a delicious tea from there. In the end, night had completely fallen and we could look at the stars through various telescopes. You have actually seen everything: the rings of Saturn, Jupiter and its moons and a colorful flickering Venus. Afterwards, a delicious scent attracted us to the buffet. Crispy chicken with rice and beans, as well as salad filled our empty stomachs. There was (unfortunately) only Coke, but we luckily had water with us. Well strengthened we then visited the last point of our trip: the constellations. Under a clear starry sky with lots of humor, our guide Arabi explained the signs of the zodiac and showed us how to orientate ourselves in the desert in the sky and how to read the seasons in the sky. Afterwards, you could have pictures taken with the starry sky in the background. The trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish!:-) We all felt comfortable and had a lot of fun. Even the young photographer was absolutely enchanting. He was funny and nice and joked with the kids. Also for the photos there were reasonable fixed prices and the results looked very nice and professional. Which I also found very nice: There was no rushing - neither at dinner nor during the village visit. Arabi took time for each question and responded to everyone. We were only in the hotel much later than thought - because they took so much time for us. Thank you for the great experience!!:-)

The tour was... - The excursion was extraordinary. Everything went well. Jeep ride in the desert, explanation, camel tour, visit to the Bedouin village. Excellent meal with the stars. Thank you very much to Arabi for his kindness and his astronomy course we all took full eyes. Bravo for the 4 languages spoken, a real plus. It was a moment suspended in time go there with your eyes closed.

An unforgettable experience under the desert sky - The desert panorama was breathtaking and was the perfect setting for the whole evening. Our guide, Arabi, was exceptional, very nice and professional: he explained the stars in four languages and made us observe different planets through the telescope. We also loved the Bedouin hospitality. The driver was excellent and professional, and special thanks go to the photographer for the really impressive shots captured during the tour. A perfect night!

Great desert experience - Pick-up was right on time and the tour was most interesting. Araby our guide did a great job describing life among the Bedouin and was truly an astronomy expert. The sunset was spectacular, the camel ride was a good photo op, and dinner was tssty.
