Very good experience - Did Horse riding for first time with my wife. Very good experience, we rode in desert sand and to the sea. Very good service and friendly people on the farm will definitely do again.

Fun day out - Our youngest enjoyed horse riding pre-Covid but hasn’t taken it up since, myself, my wife and eldest hadn’t tried horse riding before. There wasn’t much of an introduction to riding for beginners but it was certainly enjoyable none the less. The horses were calm and listened to the guide and the photographer was funny and charming and only added to the day. All in all a great little excursion

Amazing experience - Amazing trip! Me and my daughter had a brilliant time with the horses. We had the opportunity to ride the horses into the sea, and through the desert. The people who took us out were kind, patient and fun. This was my first experience riding a horse and I would definitely recommend.

unique experience - Riding the horse in the desert and red sea was definitely an amazing experience. Especially in the sea, good for photos and also unique experience. The guide was patient and took a lot of photos for us. However, due to the hot weather, I would say 2 hours was enough. I do recommend this tour.

great horse riding experience in the red sea - The excursion was amazing. The horse ride was definitely amazing in the desert and awesome in the red sea. Additionally, the guide walked with us was experienced and careful. Though my horse was a bit out of control some times but it turned out to be fine finally. I definitely recommend this tour.

Great horse ride and swim but make sure you want filming before you set off. - I was picked up exactly on time at my hotel in Hurghada and driven to the stables out towards El Gouna, a trip of around 25 minutes. On arrival there was a comfortable shelter to wait in. After around 20 minutes the stable owner came to ask how experienced a rider I was and to detail what would happen on the trip. Firstly there would be a ride in the desert, then down to the beach where the saddle would be taken off the horse and I would get to go into the sea with it, lastly a ride back. After another 20 minutes we mounted up and set off, myself, the guide and a cameraman (who I hadn’t asked for). Also Lucky the dog. The ride into the ‘desert’ involved crossing the highway and riding out into some scrubland with a small hill. It seemed to me that the route was mainly governed by the camera man who was snapping away taking stills and video. After that, the ride down to the beach was through what I can only describe as a building site, there’s a lot of development going on there. Once we reached the sea we took the saddle off and went into the sea. Again, I felt what we did was mostly for the benefit of the cameraman but it was awesome nonetheless. Lastly a ride back through the building site to the stables. Once there I was shown some of the pictures and video and quoted a wholly unrealistic price for them. After some discussion we reached a price I was more comfortable with and I did buy the package. There were more than 70 stills and the cameraman spliced the videos together into a 7 minute track (slightly questionable backing music!). The photo/video package did cost much more than the experience itself by the way. Did I enjoy it? Yes, greatly and especially the swimming with the horse. Was it what I expected? Not exactly, not as picturesque as I’d thought and the cameraman seemed to dictate what we did. I think it would have been a different experience if he hadn’t been there. And it would have been nice to be asked if I wanted him filming it all before we set out.
