Romantic bike ride through local Hurghada life - My wife and I decided to try something active during our honeymoon and this bike tour was perfect. We are both in our thirties and fairly fit so the two hour ride was just the right amount of exercise without being exhausting. The route took us along the waterfront and through the older part of town which was fascinating. We saw everyday Egyptian life people going about their business kids playing in the streets shopkeepers opening up for the evening. Our guide was a local guy who grew up in Hurghada and his stories about the citys transformation over the years were really interesting. At one point we stopped at a tiny bakery and tried fresh baladi bread straight from the oven. It was simple but so delicious. The tour felt intimate and personal not like a big commercial operation. We both agreed it was the most memorable afternoon of our whole trip.
