rewarding - Having booked this trip in France; we did not know what to expect (it is not too proposed) I can tell you that we absolutely do not regret!!!plus we were .....2 .. Safi and Adbu of very young guides made us relive the life of this abandoned city (a heavy atmosphere) one successful morning with this young Egyptian recounting the life of his grandfather working in this phosphate mine under conditions... Thank you SAFI ..Try this experience it changes from the rest of the temples which are just as wonderful

Nice Quad Tour to an abandoned city in the middle of the red sea mountains - The Quad Tour to Ghost Town was really nice. I have been picked up at my Hotel from the owner of the company. We had a nice talk while heading to his location, which is located within the desert, south of Safaga. There i got a short introduction for the quad, but this was fastly as i already driven some quads before.
Then the Tour started with Mostafa.
We drove deeper into the desert along the mountains. After about 30 minutes we go through a tunnel. Behind it, we could see the ghost city lying under us. Before entering the city, we drove up a hill, where we got a scenic view over the whole city. Mostafa explained that the only buildings that are still a bit in shape are the mosques. Therefore we drove to one mosque afterwards and even climbed on top of it. Then we go for a walk to the old school buildings, where we put our names on the scratchpad in one of the class rooms.
Then we went back to the quads and climbed a hill on the other side of the abandoned city. From there we got another panoramic view over the whole city.
On the other end of the city, we then drove back towards the starting point over a dirt road. This road leads us through the mountains and was in a good shape, therefore we could go a bit faster here.
After arriving back, we had a tea with the owner where we talked more about the history of the abandoned city, which was interesting as he himself lived there for many years.
Afterwards i got driven back to my hotel.
I can only recommend this tour, as it leads to scenic views and really special places worth to visit. Also the driving was much fun.

A more than wonderful tour of the ghost house - Adams Tours is really very organized and everyone was helpful to us. We had a very enjoyable time. Thank you everyone. I advise everyone to book with Adams Tours.
