Setting Sail to Hula Hula Island

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself in Hurghada, ready to embark on a new adventure. The promise of crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs was too tempting to resist. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and the idea of exploring the underwater world of Hula Hula Island had me buzzing with excitement.

The journey began with a comfortable transfer to the marina, where I was greeted by the friendliest crew I’ve ever encountered. Their warmth and enthusiasm were infectious, setting the tone for what promised to be an unforgettable day. As we set sail across the Red Sea, the gentle breeze and the sound of waves lapping against the boat instantly transported me to a state of bliss.

Snorkeling Amongst the Coral Reefs

Our first stop was a snorkeling site that boasted some of the most vibrant coral reefs I’ve ever seen. The guides were exceptional, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and safe, even those who weren’t strong swimmers. As I slipped into the water, I was immediately enveloped by a kaleidoscope of colors. Schools of fish darted around me, and the coral formations were nothing short of breathtaking.

Having spent countless hours in the ocean, I felt right at home, but it was the crew’s dedication to making everyone feel included that truly stood out. They were always on hand to assist and entertain, making sure each passenger had the best experience possible. After two exhilarating snorkeling stops, we returned to the boat for a buffet lunch that catered to all tastes, complete with unlimited soft drinks and refreshing fruit snacks.

Relaxation on Hula Hula Island

With our appetites satisfied, we made our way to Hula Hula Island, a slice of paradise nestled in the Red Sea. The island’s white sandy beaches and turquoise waters were a sight to behold. I spent the next two hours soaking up the sun, swimming in the warm waters, and simply enjoying the laid-back island vibe.

While the beach umbrellas were free, the local vendors were eager to sell their wares, and prices were a bit steep. However, the beauty of the island more than made up for it. As I sipped on a cold beer, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such a stunning location.
