Be sure to visit the Clock Room, featuring an extensive array of clocks from sundials to contemporary masterpieces.
- AP State Museum - Continue your journey to the State Museum, Hyderabad’s oldest museum. It boasts a vast array of artifacts from numerous archaeological digs, along with a rich collection of Buddhist sculptures from the 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C. and remarkable Hindu sculptures from the Chalukya and Vijaynagar Empires, dating from the 6th to the 13th century A.D. The museum’s highlight is an Egyptian mummy, a gift from the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad.

Highlights include a golden throne, diamond and gold-encrusted daggers, and a silver elephant. Additionally, admire three vintage cars: a 1930 Rolls Royce, a Packard, and a Mark V Jaguar.
- Chowmahalla Palace - After exploring the museums, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).
Conclude your day at the stunning Chowmahalla Palace, the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. Be sure to see the Clock Tower at the entrance, with its mechanical clock that has been running for 250 years. This opulent palace was the setting for all the Nizams’ functions and banquets.
