Perfect Aurora tour - Heimir was excellent; patient and knowledgeable and went out of his way to keep everyone happy and comfortable. The bus was warm and we used the snowsuits so we could stay warm and sit on the chairs provided and enjoy the fabulous lights in a remote location away from other tours. The snacks and hot chocolate were so welcome at the end. Would totally recommend.

An Unforgettable Experience - We cannot say enough good things about Heimir. He was the ultimate guide and host. He communicated with us regarding seeing the northern lights and helped to reschedule us to another night where the lights would be more favorable. Heimir gave us frequent updates and was helpful during the pick up process.
The bus is comfortable and heated. It was about a 30-45 minute drive to the viewing location. Heimir was consistently providing the group with fun facts, information, and personal stories all about the northern lights. His photography skills are amazing! He offered to take as many pictures as each guest wanted and would excitedly announce the best moments to snap shots as the lights brightened.
Heimir provided the group with foldable camp chairs for seating, heavy and warm snow suits to wear over your clothes for extra warmth, and of course, traditional Icelandic snacks and treats with hot chocolate.
At the end of our trip, Heimir made a complete effort to bring you back to our respective hotels and lodgings as close as possible. My husband joked and said Heimir would’ve probably driven us back to America if he could’ve! Just shows how thoughtful and considerate he was.
Again, we cannot stress how amazing our experience was. Highly, highly recommend if you’re considering. We read through several different companies and offerings for the Northern Lights tours, and we are sooo happy we chose Heimir with Aurora Experts!!

Great Tour! - Heimer was so wonderful, and the entire experience was incredible! He was flexible with rescheduling to a new day and with the pick-up timing, which I appreciated so much. He also went above and beyond to show us the lights and make sure we had the best time. I have nothing but good things to say about this tour and highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the lights!

Great experience 10 stars! - Amazing evening! Heimir was a fantastic knowledgable guide.
We had our 5year old with us and he kept us up to date on collection time so we weren’t stood in the cold.
The sprinter was lovely and comfortable.
We got to location and luckily they were out and got stronger.
We had loads of lovely pictures taken that get emailed after.
He then got out chairs, snacks, hot chocolate etc. Our little boy enjoyed the crispy chocolate and my partner the fish.
Plenty of time spent at location and my little boy could go on and off the bus to keep warm.
I would 1000% recommend this tour.

Best Experience - We didn’t see the lights on our first trip out so we got to come again. Both times our guide was amazing! Helped people learn about their cameras. Had chairs, snow suits, and refreshments. Even let me borrow a tripod since I could bring one in my luggage due to size. Highly recommend!

Wonderful tour with Snow - We had such an amazing trip with our tour guide Snow! Snow is incredibly patient, warm and super professional the whole time. No matter how many questions we asked, even the small and trivial ones, Snow always answered us in detail with a nice smile, never showing any impatience. Snow’s enthusiasm is really contagious—every introduction was full of energy, which made our trip so much more fun and engaging.
What impressed us most is Snow’s professional knowledge. All the explanations about the scenic spots were clear and informative, helping us understand the local culture and history deeply. And Snow’s English is excellent, speaking fluently and clearly with no communication barriers at all, which made our whole travel experience smooth and comfortable.
Snow took great care of our group, making sure everyone was on track and had a good time. We truly appreciate Snow’s hard work and dedication. If you’re planning a trip here, Snow is definitely the best tour guide choice! We highly recommend Snow and will remember this wonderful trip forever.

Magical evening! - In a word, wow! We chose this company because of the small group size, the extra attention, and the great reviews 😊 Well, Heimir, you delivered. What enthusiasm and expertise. He really takes the time for you, for everyone in the group. He's very mindful of your safety. And then you can just enjoy the beauty around you. The details make it so worth it. The snacks, warm clothes, the seats, and the black bus are simply fantastic. Without being disturbed by other groups. And the pictures, the best memory. One of the most memorable moments of my life. So cool. Highly recommended. ✨

Exceeded expectations - WOW! This exceeded all expectations! I chose the company primarily for the available snowsuits and small group size. However, our guide/owner was such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual, he made an amazing viewing even better. I did take some of my own photos but when it was clear how much better his were going to be, we were able to just be in the moment and enjoy the movement of the lights. Pretty confident that having this excursion with three times or more people would have sucked.

Do not book for January - We booked a tour through Airbnb and it was cancelled last minute because not enough other people booked the tour. I understand cancelling a tour due to safety reasons, but this felt like mismanagement and misleading information. Worst of all, we were only notified a few hours before the tour was set to start, making us have to scramble for other options. We planned our entire trip around this experience. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed by the way things turned out. If you are coming to Iceland in January, do not book with this group.
