• Selvallafoss - Begin the day with a visit to the viewpoint over Berserkjahraun, one of Iceland’s most stunning lava fields. From this vantage point, the craters that erupted thousands of years ago are visible, and just a five-minute walk away is the charming Selvallafoss waterfall, also known as the Sheep waterfall.
• Kirkjufell Mountain - Known as the most photographed mountain in Iceland, Kirkjufell is a highlight of the Snæfellsnes peninsula. This iconic peak, also called the Church mountain, gained additional fame as Arrowhead Mountain in Game of Thrones.

Our stop includes a visit to the waterfall, offering a fantastic photo opportunity with Kirkjufell mountain and its sister mountain, framed by an old bridge. It’s a truly majestic location.

• Saxholl Crater - The impressive Saxhóll crater is a must-see. Standing apart from the surrounding lava fields, it offers those who climb its stairs a breathtaking view of this part of the Snæfellsnes peninsula.

The summit rewards visitors with views of green moss, red lava rock mixed with black lava, the white glacier on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.

• Djupalonssandur Beach - Djupalonssandur is another stunning black sand beach where the Atlantic waves crash against the shore. It is surrounded by dramatic lava fields, rocky formations, and the Snæfellsjökull glacier in the background.

• Arnarstapi - The picturesque fishing village of Arnarstapi has been described in many ways: “most beautiful natural harbor,” “fantastic coastline,” and “the walk was something else.”
• Budakirkja - This iconic landmark in Snæfellsnes is surrounded by stunning lava fields and a black sand beach on one side, with the Snæfellsjökull glacier and mountain range on the other.

• Snaefellsjokull National Park & Glacier - Jules Verne made the Snæfellsjökull glacier famous with his novel “Journey to the Center of the Earth.” On this day tour, we drive around the glacier, viewing it from various locations.
• Ytri Tunga Beach - One of the few places to spot seals in West Iceland, and by far the best. It’s hard to tell if the seals at Ytri Tunga are more curious or the people watching them.

On sunny days, they can be seen lounging on the rocks, basking in the sun, while on windy days, they often swim so close to the beach that it feels like you could almost reach out and pat them on the head.
