Ifrane - The driver from Fes Desert Trip will collect guests from their hotel or Riad at 7 am for an exciting journey into the Middle Atlas mountains. The first stop is the charming town of Ifrane, constructed by the French in the 1930s, often referred to as Morocco’s Switzerland due to its Alpine chalet-style architecture and ambiance.

Azrou - The journey continues through vast cedar forests surrounding the quaint and serene Berber town of Azrou, meaning “The Rock” in the local Berber language. Here, the famous Barbary Apes, actually macaque monkeys, are eager to join in for lunch amidst their natural habitat.

Atlas Mountains - As the journey progresses through the Atlas Mountains, known for their majestic presence, travelers will navigate through forested peaks, winding streams, gushing springs, and impressive, rugged rock formations.

Erg Chebbi - Upon reaching the significant town of Rissani at the Sahara’s edge, travelers will be captivated by the sudden, magical appearance of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. These towering dunes, reaching up to 50 meters, stretch eastward into the Algerian Sahara. Guests will then embark on an unforgettable ninety-minute camel trek into the stunning sunset, traversing the shifting sands to arrive at a traditional Berber desert camp. Here, they will spend the night in a cozy tent, surrounded by towering dunes. Relax and savor a delightful dinner while enjoying the soothing sounds of traditional Berber music, before sleeping under a sky filled with countless, brilliantly shining stars.
