Best day of his life - Darwin was our guide and he was awesome! We were on a Carnival cruise in Dec ‘25 and did the zipline and Damajagua waterfall combo w/lunch. It was my husband and two boys, 13 and 16. My 13-year-old said it was the best day of his life. So glad we did this. The only thing I would change is instead of wearing water shoes, I would’ve just brought a pair of junkie tennis shoes. There are lots of places where you’re stepping over small rocks and the water shoes did not provide a lot of support. I would also encourage anyone to do a little bit of strength training before hand as the stairs going up could be difficult for some. All of us are pretty active and we all had sore legs the next day. they also had a photographer which we ended up buying the photos from.

A Really Fun Time - This tour was a blast. First you hike up a small mountain, then jump into some cold water. A few waterfalls, nothing crazy. Once that is done, they take you to the zip line place but feed you first. The zip lines were fun, nothing too crazy. Perfect if you've never done it.

A Whole Day of Fun - The water was great. A little cold at first, but you get used to it. A bit of a hike, but not bad at all. Ziplining was great too. Very efficient and safe. If you're considering it, do it.

Best Excursion for Thrill Seekers - Darwin and Luis were the best guides ever! We did the zip lining and waterslides and it was one of the most thrilling and adrenaline-filled experiences I’ve ever been on. My whole family loved it and felt so safe and welcomed by Darwin! Would 100% recommend to any other thrill seekers. I also forgot to bring close-toed water shoes but they had some on the bus for only $14. The food was amazing and they even gave us some soda/cold waters which were much needed. The best guides and the best excursion I’ve ever been on during a cruise!

AWESOME Excursion. Just do it! - We did the Mega Adventures waterfalls and zip line excursion through our cruise line with our family of 5 - two adults, kids ages 18, 15, 11 and had a BLAST! It’s a strenuous, adventurous excursion but I never personally felt like it was “too intense” or “dangerous” at all. It was AWESOME. We took an open air bus from the cruise port to the waterfalls where we left ALL our stuff on the bus, and made the 30-40 minute hike. I highly recommend wearing hard sole water shoes. They provide water during the hike and take several breaks for people to catch their breath and rest. We had all ages, stages and fitness levels in our group and everyone did just fine. The waterfalls were SO fun. We slid down rock slides and swam/trudged through the falls. Mega had a designated “paparazzi” for our group and constantly was posing families, taking fun candid pics and overall taking allllll the pressure off of us to capture the memories and just enjoy the experience. After the falls, we got back on (the same) open air bus and took a short drive to the zip lines. After a yummy lunch (WiFi was available) we started our zip line adventure. Pretty sure we did 7 zips and the whole experience was so exhilarating and fun. The staff seemed very confident, trained and excellent. Felt very safe! Mega got us back to the ship in plenty of time and was probably one of our favorite excursions EVER. BOOK IT!

Amazing excursion - Best adrenaline adventure. The natural water slides were extremely cool and the zip line were approximately 2 to 3 football fields long and there were six of them.Super easy meet the travel guide right off the ship. Alex the tour guide sis an excellent job describing the culture as we drive to the activities. We left all our belongs on the bus and nothing was touched.. only recommendation is to make sure you bring a full change of clothes because you do the water slides first and then you can change into regular clothes and tennis shoes for the zip line.

Where else can you do this? - This was the highlight of our cruise. Going down the waterfalls was a blast. The water was cold, but you got used to it quickly. The guides help you out. The ziplining was fun too. It was 6 different lines that we did.

Excursion from Carnival Cruise - We booked this excursion thru the Carnival Adventure team and it was our first waterfall/slide and zip line experience. Super personable team led by "Duran Duran" and his team made sure everyone stayed safe and comfortable. Highly recommend if your doing the DR for a day off the cruise ships. Ton of fun & lots of photos/memories!

BEST ADVENTURE! - FRANCISO! FRANCISCO! FRANCISCO! ❤️ The best tour guide and sooo handsome! He is extremely knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Dominican Republic and gives you a brief experience of what it’s like living in the country side! The mountains are high and the waters are cool. I will definitely return just to see it all again and see my favorite tour guide! Prepare to get that Dominican figure….😉
