Great day in the Dominican Republic - Gearson was a great guide, he took good care of us. We all enjoyed the waterfalls and the lunch was delicious! I would definitely do this again when I return to Puerto Plata!

Great private tours - We have done several excursions and loved all of them. Buggies, Paradise Island, Waterfalls and Blue Lagoon. We liked to avoid the normal tourist groups, Edgar and Gerson advised specific days and times that would suit our wishes.

Great Excursion! - This was our favorite thing we did on our cruise. Gerson was great with communication prior to our excursion (replied right away to any questions and reached out with details the day before). We got off ship and he was waiting for us exactly where he told us he would be. The van was clean and comfortable and he got us to the waterfalls ahead of most of the groups going for the day. The waterfalls were great (there is about a thirty minute hike up before you get to them). Our group was kids from 7 years old up to 73 year olds and all of us loved it. It was unlike anything we had ever done and the guides were very helpful! Part of the tour included lunch and the food was amazing! Because it was a private tour we could tailor it to our needs. I would highly recommend Gerson and Edgar Private tours for any trip to Dominican!

A refreshing, well-managed and unforgettable adventure with Edgar Private Tour! - We had a great day with our family (2 adults and 4 children) thanks to Edgar Private Tour to discover the famous Damajagua Falls. Is this the best price on the market? Maybe not. But the Best Service is certain! The transport was punctual (yes, yes, at the exact scheduled time, not “Dominican time”), and we were picked up directly at our hotel by a friendly and professional guide and driver. Once we arrived at the park, we were equipped with helmets and PFDs and then directed to the start of the adventure. We were hoping to make the 12 falls, but due to recent weather conditions only 7 were accessible – which is quite normal to ensure the safety of visitors. The climb is demanding (expect to climb more than 1000 steps!), but park guides know how to do it: frequent breaks, adapted pace, reassuring advice. A small bottle of water is even handed over before the hike, which is well appreciated. The falls themselves? Great. Jumps, natural slides, laughter and thrills for young and old. Our only disappointment: that it is already over! We also chose to use the photographer proposed by the park – a little expensive (55 USD for about 75 photos/videos), but none of these images are priceless once you see them again after the excursion. Finally, a good meal was waiting for us on site, organized by our guide Francisco: tasty, simple and well deserved! Important: this excursion requires a minimum of fitness and mobility. If you are comfortable climbing, you will love it. A big thank you to Edgar Private Tour for a beautiful day well orchestrated!

Great time in Puerto Plata - Edgar picked us up at the from Puerto Plata airport on July 7th. He was friendly, informative and professional. We booked our trip with him to visit Jamajagua. He got us there nice and early before the big crowds. After the super fun adventure we had a delicious lunch and then stopped for a beautiful walk through Puerto Plata. Edgar stayed with us the entire time, offering great information. We had such a great time that we asked if he was available to drive us to the airport on our last day. He was always on time, and had a nice clean and comfy van. Would definitely recommend Edgar.

Amazing Excursion - Edgar was a fantastic guide. He communicated ahead of time and it was easy to find him. His vehicle was a van in great condition and very comfortable. It sure beat waiting for everyone to pile on to a large tour bus. The waterfall experience itself was very fun and the lunch after was outstanding. I would highly recommend going with Edgar for any excursion in the area. He is very professional and friendly and just great to talk to! Can't wait to come back.
