DAY 1: IMLIL, TIZI N TAMATERE (2279M), OUANSKRA, TACHDIRTH

Imlil - A 3-day trek through Berber villages begins from Imlil, departing from your hotel. The journey starts with a 2-hour hike towards Tizi n Tamaterte (2279 meters), passing through fields of barley and orchards of walnut, apple, and cherry trees until reaching the village of Tamaterte. After passing through the village, the path leads through pine and juniper woods, stopping at the Tizi to admire the views of the Imlil and Imnane valleys.

Amegdoul - The latter valley is dotted with Berber villages perched on the slopes. The trek continues along the upper valley slopes for about an hour to the villages of Ouanskra and Amagdoul, nestled among terraced plots carved from the slopes. Here, a field picnic is enjoyed on a plateau, a popular bivouac site in summer.

Tacheddirt - The afternoon involves a 2-hour hike through the valley along mule trails to reach Tachdirth (2291m), the oldest Berber village in the Toubkal massif. This village is set among terraced plots on rugged slopes, where an overnight stay in a local guesthouse is planned.

DAY 2: TACHDIRTH, IAABBASSEN, TIMICHI

High Atlas Mountains - A 2.5-hour hike leads up to Tizi n Tachdirth (3200m), offering breathtaking panoramic views of Jbel Aksoual (3842m) and Bouignouane (3882m) on one side and Angour on the other, with the lush, verdant valley stretching below.

DAY 3: TIMICHI, TIWERDIWE, TADRARTE, AGADIR NÏ, AIT BOULMANE, SETTI FATMA

Ourika Valley - After breakfast, a 4 to 5-hour hike eastward follows the valley, rich with cornfields and walnut groves, and streams flowing from the upper slopes. Passing through the villages of Anfli and Tadrart, the trek concludes at the beautiful Ourika Valley and the renowned Berber village of Setti Fatma, known for its ancient nut trees and waterfalls.

Imlil - A picnic is enjoyed just outside the village before a half-hour hike to the vehicle for transfer back to Imlil.
