• Marrakech - Hassan, the tour guide, and Salah, the driver, will pick you up from your hotel/riad or meet you at a designated meeting point. From there, the 1.5-hour journey to the Atlas Mountains begins. The first stop is the charming village of Azrou. Next, visit a women’s argan oil cooperative for a tasting of fresh bread and oil with Moroccan tea.

The following stop is the scenic and lively valley of Imlil, a delightful area with a flowing river, nut trees, and traditional Berber villages scattered throughout. From there, the walk begins with a peaceful stop at a lovely home where you can enjoy breathtaking views from the rooftop terrace while savoring a delicious Berber lunch lovingly prepared by the family.

After lunch, continue the walk along an easy trail with a fantastic view of the entire valley. The driver will be ready to take you back to Marrakech, with an expected arrival in town around 6 p.m.

Your day in Marrakech begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation, followed by a picturesque drive towards the Atlas Mountains. As you leave the city, you’ll travel through lush valleys, traditional Berber villages, and stunning mountain scenery.

Upon reaching the High Atlas Mountains, you’ll meet your local guide and embark on a guided hike along mountain trails, passing terraced fields, walnut trees, and genuine Berber villages. The hike is easy to moderate, with frequent stops for photos and to learn about Berber culture and daily life.

After the hike, you’ll be warmly welcomed into a traditional Berber home for a homemade Moroccan lunch prepared by a local family. Savor a freshly cooked tagine, salads, Moroccan bread, and mint tea, all served in a cozy and friendly setting.

After lunch, take some time to enjoy the tranquil surroundings before beginning the drive back to Marrakech, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation in the early evening, carrying cherished memories of the Atlas Mountains and Berber life.
