• Imlil - The operator will meet guests at their riad or hotel in Marrakech at 9 am to begin an exciting cooking class and Berber day trip to the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy the panoramic views of the lush valley filled with olive trees and ancient Berber villages in Tahanaout during the drive. Visitors can explore the Argan oil cooperative run by local women in Tahanaout and visit the weekly market held on Tuesdays.

The journey continues south to the Moulay Brahim Gorges and the Berber village of Asni, before driving up to the Imlil valley. The drive follows a green river lined with diverse trees and water features.

Guests will learn about Berber hospitality and daily activities, and see terrace fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. During the walk, there will be a stop for mint tea at a Berber house with a local family.
