Joshimath - The journey from Dehradun to Joshimath covers 284 kilometers and typically takes around 9 to 10 hours via NH7. Departing from Dehradun early in the morning allows for a delightful drive. Along the route, travelers will encounter four of the five Panch Prayags, where rivers converge. The first is Devprayag, where the Alaknanda joins the Bhagirathi to form the Ganga. Next is Rudraprayag (Alaknanda and Mandakini), followed by Karnaprayag (Alaknanda and Pindar), and finally Nandprayag (Alaknanda and Nandakini).
