Magical trip with family and friends - We had an incredible stay in Saariselka thanks to the activities done with Xwander: aurora camp by the fire with the Northern Lights, fishing on Lake Inari in a relaxing and majestic setting followed by an extraordinary timeless experience with a sauna then swimming in the frozen lake, night hiking on snowshoes with bonus Northern Lights, all with great guides (Alex, Harry, Julia,...) Many thanks to all for making this trip unforgettable for us

Dreams Accomplished - Everything went just as the agency planned. Perfect accommodation and activities adapted to our tastes. Punctuality in transfers, kindness of all Xwander members. And especially Anne who took us through Auroras and taught us about them, is super friendly, cheerful and attentive. I recommend with my eyes closed.

Good experience - The experience was fine, unfortunately we were not lucky enough to see the auroras being in the campsite. Just as we were returning, our monitor could see one and we stood by the wagon. That was a gesture of appreciation. I also reported that I was vegetarian and they adapted dinner to my needs. The reason the rating is a 4 is because I think you could improve the experience in these cases when no auroras appear telling some story of the tribes, giving information about the auroras or something to do other than just wait looking at the fire.

Good experience and some pointers for improvement - We had lovely guides on this activity. It was very nice to be able to experience the aurora borealis (on the way to the aurora village). Our guide ensured that we stopped on the way to take pictures as there is no guarantee it would show that bright again later. We could have been done better is providing a torch or headlights for the walk from the car to the tent. It was dark and the snow cover was thick and it was a struggle to see where we were walking (especially since we had a toddler with us). Also the reindeer soup was yumm but the quantity was not enough for a dinner meal.
