Begin your day at our Sport Shop, where a team member will personally assist in selecting the perfect bike for you! Following a brief safety and usage tutorial, embark on an adventure to Bike Big Blue!
Our suggested route begins at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort sports shop. Pedal along the Lakeshore car-free bike path to the newly renovated East Shore Bike Trail, updated in 2019! At the intersection with Nevada State Route 28 (Tahoe Blvd), cyclists can safely head southwest for 2.5 miles towards Sand Harbor State Park, enjoying the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe. You can choose to pause and relax at Memorial Beach, Hidden Beach, or Sand Harbor. Numerous vistas along the shoreline offer plenty of opportunities for rest and photography. Secure your bikes (locks provided) and explore Hidden and Memorial Beaches—two of Tahoe’s treasures! Turn around near Sand Harbor and retrace your path. If desired, stop at the Tunnel Creek Café for refreshments and food! Relish the mile-long downhill coast back to the hotel.
Cyclists can also head north on Lakeshore Blvd to admire the stunning homes along Billionaires Row. Ride the Lakeshore Blvd bike path for 3 miles along the lakefront, and if you wish, continue onto the bike lane for an additional two miles to reach Kings Beach in California.
