Java Bromo Ijen - I recently booked a private Bromo-Ijen tour with Journeast Indonesia, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. It offered the kind of flexibility you just can't get with a group tour—we could adjust our departure times and spend extra time at the viewpoints without feeling rushed.

Family private trip to Bromo and Ijen from Yogyakarta - I recently booked a 3-day private tour to Mount Bromo and Ijen Crater with Journeast Indonesia, and it was truly an impeccable experience.
What stood out most was the absolute flexibility we enjoyed. Being a private trip, we had full control over our schedule; we never felt rushed and could savor every sunrise and viewpoint at our own pace. This freedom of time made the adventure feel deeply personal and relaxed.

Private and affordable.. - We originally planned for a shared tour but decided to book a private one because we were exhausted from our trip from Jakarta to Yogyakarta. We wanted a more relaxed pace where we could set our own rhythm.
Indra was very helpful and friendly during the booking process. Our guide, Juan, was also very knowledgeable about the local culture and history. Bromo was stunning, though very cold! Since there’s a lot of driving involved, the comfortable car and good AC made it easy to catch up on sleep. We also booked our hotel transfer to Ubud through Journeast on the last day. We felt safe throughout the entire journey. Highly recommended!

Private tour that meet with our needs - We had an amazing family trip in Java thanks to Journeast. Juan, our driver, provided top-notch service, and the guides at Bromo and Ijen were professional and fluent in English. Everything from the hotels to the meals was well-organized. We chose a private tour over cheaper options specifically for the flexibility, and it was worth every penny to be able to manage our own schedule comfortably.

BEST BROMO PRIVATE TOUR - I recently completed the 3-day Bromo and Ijen overland journey (Yogyakarta start, Bali drop-off) with Journeast Indonesia as a solo traveler, and I can confidently say the tour was worth every penny.
The company provided a genuinely private experience, which was a huge plus—I had the vehicle to myself and was not join other groups, a rare find for a solo booking for a private tour.
I also had considerable leeway regarding the schedule. Critically, they upheld all their commitments, and their rate for individuals traveling alone was surprisingly competitive compared to similar operators. This was an outstanding private tour!

Bromo Private Tour - My partner and I booked the 3-day Bromo and Ijen tour from Jogja with Journeast Indonesia. We initially considered a group tour but opted for the private package—the best decision! The increased comfort and flexibility were absolutely worth it.
Journeast provided an incredible best deal price, combining excellent facilities with superb value. The private transportation was comfortable, accommodations were cozy, and the local guides for Bromo and Ijen (especially the Blue Fire trek) were knowledgeable and ensured our safety.

Really very nice! - We had booked this tour but we had to give up the excursion to the volcano Ijen because it was too active. We replaced this hike with tumpaksewu waterfalls and it was still a great experience. The falls really deserve it!
The tour in general was very exciting and although you have to wake up really early in the morning, it is worth it.
Our escort Indra has always been very kind and super helpful. He also made some detours to allow us to see more things and really thought of everything to make sure we enjoyed the holiday 100%.
Always on time and really wanted us to have a nice experience.
I highly recommend this tour, even with the waterfalls option instead of the volcano.

3 days exceptional tour - We loved the tour, we booked the tour to see the Bromo and Ijen volcanoes. On the first day we were told that Ijen was at risk of rash and was therefore closed, but we were advised immediately and found an alternative visit of 10. We went to Malang to see the Tumpak Sewu waterfalls, at no extra cost and loved it. The guides all 10, with exceptional treatment. Also, the hotels were very good.

Great excursion Mount Bromo and Ijen volcano - Very good views, very comfortable on the excursion. I would like to return to the country. We went to see Mount Bromo and the Ijen volcano on a 3 day tour and it was amazing. And the hotels are very good ✨ What a shame we couldn't enjoy them too much.

Good experience - There are 2 night tours, so we sleep in the afternoon. Both Bromo and Ijen have to be walked for a short time but there is a lot of climbing, so wear comfortable shoes. There were many "untrained" people, to say the least, who went up without any problems.
The views are spectacular!! And our driver Bhimo was attentive the entire time to help us or if we needed anything.
It's full of people, everyone goes at the same time to see the sunrise.
When doing it with a tour they manage everything for you, we looked at doing it on our own and we found it difficult...
