09:00 AM: Enter Gunung Leuser National Park and begin trekking. Search for wild Sumatran orangutans, Thomas’s leaf monkeys, gibbons, and tropical birds. Your guide shares knowledge of the rainforest ecosystem, flora, and medicinal plants used by local communities for generations.
Midday: Refreshing break with fresh tropical fruits prepared by your guide deep in the jungle.
Continue trekking to your riverside campsite along the Bahorok River. Relax, take a swim, and soak in the peaceful rainforest atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a delicious traditional jungle dinner prepared over an open fire. Overnight at the campsite under the jungle canopy.
Day 2: Morning Trek and River Tubing
