Good fun - Picked up at my hotel on time and the drive to the volcano was about an hour. I then got in a jeep and we visited the bunker, a small museum of the 2010 eruption and then driving in a river. Both drivers were really friendly and spoke good English. The weather was cloudy so couldn’t see the top of the volcano but it was still good fun.

Super fun and exciting experience! - It was a really fun and exciting experience. Jungle, excursion and volcanos! Our drivers (two of them) were so kind and helpful. A big thank you to both of them! We very much enjoyed the jungle tour and highly recommend it for those who will travel to Yogyakarta!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible experience with top guides Estri and Fanny! - Today we joined a tour to the Merapi volcano, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience—mainly thanks to our amazing guides.
From the very beginning, we were picked up by Estri, a fantastic young woman who welcomed us with great enthusiasm and warmth. During the ride to the jeeps, she openly shared stories about herself and daily life in her community. We had a very pleasant and insightful conversation about cultural differences—it felt truly personal and meaningful. She also gave us interesting information about the surroundings we passed on the way.
The jeep tour itself was led by Fanny, a young, energetic guide with a deep passion for the Merapi volcano. He provided clear and engaging explanations about the landscape, the eruptions, and their impact on the region. At the Merapi Museum, he brought the story to life with genuine enthusiasm.
Both Estri and Fanny are absolute stars—friendly, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about their work. We highly recommend this tour and especially these two fantastic guides!

Adventure to Mount Merapi - Amazing trip to Mount Merapi, clear blue sky for the day with complements of magnificent view of Merapi.
Great experience, with very friendly drivers is definitely a big plus point.

Super fun trip - Super tour! We had a good driver who told us nice things along the way and drove us safely through the busy roads of Yogyakarta. We enjoyed and is definitely recommended

Shouting time - Excited because at last we can play with water using jeep. It was just like children seeing merey go round.
We were informed that we can choose the intensity of the ride. I for one will definitely go for the most exciting one. Which means all wet. They can help to take video and photograph using your phone. I will suggest that you ask them to take video. The standing part will be more exciting therefore if you are adventurous like me, choose a jeep that allows everyone to stand. Some jeep do not have that extra barrier to protect you therefore choose properly. If you need to be selfish then be selfish because everyone deserves the same opportunity. Luckily for me , my lovely sis exchange seat with me. Thank you to my 7 killing sis. Else I really will feel short of fun.
Little wet or very wet also about the same.
It will be better if all can standup.

Great experience - Such a great day. We had a wonderful driver, Jay, from Yogyakarta up to Merapi, very friendly and knowledgeable. The volcano experience was unforgettable. The guide shared stories from the recent eruptions and took great photos and videos. He then took us down for a fun ride down the river. Highly recommend!

Fun time at Merapi - Great fun time on the 4X4 up to the volcano viewing and specially the ride along the river. The driver was very good at explaining the unfortunate bunker incident and the impact of the recent volcanic activities.
