Trip to Mt Bromo and Ijen - We had a very wonderful moments. Taking so much photos at Mt Bromo and Ijen. The views were stunning. Our tour guide Baroni was kind and helpful so did our astonishing driver, mas Anton. Our hiking to Ijen was exciting and challenging but with the help from mr. John our guide, we finally reached the top to see the facsinating crater of Ijen. Kudos to everyone. We surely will come again.❤️

Amazing views at Mt Bromo and Ijen - It was a wonderful journey. Our tour guide Baroni was superb so did our tour driver mas Anton. We took many photos at Mt Bromo and Ijen. Our hiking to Ijen was challenging yet with the help from our guide mr. John Rahmat, everything was fine. The views at Mt Bromo and Ijen were amazing and we would like to come again whenever we have a chance. Cheers.

Amazing views at Mt Bromo and Ijen - The trip was amazing. The tour guide Baroni was friendly and our tour driver mas Anton was superb. We took many great photos at Bromo and Ijen. Our hiking trip at ijen was challenging. But we enjoyed the moment all the way to the top with the help of our guide mas John. Surely we will come again.♥️

Fantastic experience. Value for money. - Two great days back to back. Took us to best spot for Mt Bromo, then Eddie patiently got us up Mt Ijen, gently making sure we saw blue flame without people in front of us, and took us off to side to see sulphur mining. They were polite, attentive, our guide Ubay, spoke great English and was really funny. Our driver Yossi was polite and safe!! My husband and I try avoid big tourist traps but this was worth joining what felt like a pilgrimage to see the sun and have fun! I wasn't sure about this beforehand but I can now 100% recommend it. These guys are awesome. Ask for Ubay.

Unforgettable Journey with Cheap Bromo and Riza - Our experience with Cheap Bromo was one of the absolute highlights of our 4-week trip around Indonesia. We had several tour guides throughout different islands, but this was by far the best. The car was modern and very comfortable, the driver was excellent and made us feel completely safe, and our tour guide, Riza, was simply outstanding. He spoke great English, was incredibly attentive, and went out of his way to make sure we had the best possible experience.
The hotel we stayed in was fantastic, and the restaurants were also excellent. Visiting Bromo and Ijen was totally worth it — both places were unforgettable, and truly the cherry on top of the cake.
Throughout our trip, everyone we met spoke highly of Riza — and we can see why! He was genuinely the best. A big thank you to him and to Cheap Bromo for making this part of our journey so special.

Amazing Bromo and Ijen Tour – Highly Recommend - We had an incredible experience visiting Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen, on a 2D1N tour organized by Cheapbromo. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we couldn’t be happier with the service, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Riza.
Riza was an outstanding guide. Although he's quite young, he was impressively professional throughout the entire trip. His English is excellent, and he was always attentive, making sure we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. He was also flexible with our requests, which made the experience feel truly personalized. On top of that, Riza is kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be around – we really enjoyed his company.
The car we travelled in was very comfortable, and our driver was also very professional and reliable. We also stayed at a great hotel in Bondowoso between the two volcano hikes – the perfect place to rest and recharge.
We highly recommend Cheapbromo – and especially Riza – to anyone planning to visit Bromo and Ijen. You’ll be in excellent hands!

Unforgettable experience with the most amazing guide – Melati! - We had the absolute privilege of having Melati as our guide for the Mt. Bromo and Ijen crater tour arranged through Cheap Bromo Tour Operators, and she truly made the entire experience magical — way beyond our expectations.
On Day 1, I had developed a bad allergy from canyoning the previous day and wasn’t sure if I could continue the trip. Melati didn’t just sympathize — she consulted online doctors, ran around to get multiple medications, and finally found the one that worked almost instantly. She paid for all of it herself and never once mentioned money — even covering things like washroom charges along the way, which most guides wouldn’t bother with.
Throughout the trip, she was a lovely person to talk to — friendly, funny, deeply knowledgeable about local history and culture, and seemed to know everyone at every stop! Even when the weather looked bad at Bromo, she stayed calm and optimistic, and somehow managed to find a “secret” sunrise spot that turned out to be stunning. She even gave us her own jacket and shawl because we didn’t have enough warm clothes — small gestures, but ones we’ll never forget.
At Ijen, I was terrified to descend into the crater to see the blue fire and had almost decided to skip it. But Melati gently convinced me to try — held my hand the entire way, ensured every step was safe, navigated the crowd expertly, and took incredible photos at all the right spots, stopping on her own when she thought the background was nice. She made the experience so much more than just a hike — it felt personal, empowering, and truly unforgettable.
Melati is one of those rare people — genuinely kind, insanely resourceful, and deeply committed to her guests. She never tried to upsell or squeeze more money out of us. Instead, she constantly went above and beyond her role.
If you’re considering this tour — ask for Melati if you can. She will turn your adventure into a memory of a lifetime.

Tour to Mt Bromo & Ijen - Guide & Driver: Hirman and Kiarte were excellent! Hirman ensured our entire trip was comfortable, with everything well prepared so we had nothing to worry about. Kiarte was always on time and made sure our drives were safe and speedy.
Difficulty of the Hike: A note for novice hikers—both hikes are physically challenging, especially Mt. Ijen. Make sure you are well prepared and dressed in the right gear. Additionally, the temperature can fluctuate significantly; it can be very cold at the mountain base and summit, while hot during the climb.
Scenery: Absolutely stunning

Incroyable - We spent 3 amazing days discovering Tumpak Sewu, Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen, and everything was perfect from start to finish.
The organization was great, the places beautiful, and we felt super well accompanied throughout the trip.

Same for Sigit, our driver, pro and always in a good mood.

Amazing volcanos journey - We had an amazing 2-day trip to Mount Bromo and Ijen with our guide Gatra. He was very friendly, caring, and always made sure we were comfortable. He encouraged us when we climbed the mountains and explained everything clearly.
Especially thanks him arranged the tour experience for us during the Bromo festival, which we will never forget. Gatra and the drivers and local tour guide were all professional and kind. We felt safe and happy the whole trip.
