- Gamat Bay - Gamat Bay Snorkeling Point is a stunning and pristine location, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind, as it is not crowded with tourists. The bay boasts immaculate sand and vibrant, soft corals that are truly breathtaking. Local divers favor this area for its exotic marine life. Due to the strong currents, it is recommended for experienced divers only. The seabed is mostly sandy, adorned with diverse coral formations and mounds. The natural beauty and crystal-clear waters entice divers to explore its depths. Unique dive sites with rocks and steep slopes are rare, and the small crevices teeming with marine fish enhance the area’s allure.
- Crystal Bay - Crystal Bay is easily accessible via well-maintained roads and is renowned for its beautiful palm-lined beach. It is one of Nusa Penida’s most famous snorkeling and diving spots. Near the shore, the waves are suitable for swimming during calm tides, with waters so clear they inspired the bay’s name. Divers appreciate the excellent visibility, sometimes reaching 30 meters. Crystal Bay is a short drive west from the Coco Resort Penida, one of the few resorts in the island’s western region. On the dark sand beach, visitors can rent parasol-shaded sunbeds from locals.
- Manta Bay - Manta Point Snorkeling is named for being one of Bali’s premier dive sites to observe manta rays. These majestic creatures are seen on nearly every dive, along with spotted stingrays and nurse sharks. Diving is possible year-round, but the best visibility, up to 20 meters, is typically between August and October. Most trips depart from dive resorts on Nusa Lembongan or from Sanur and Padang Bai on Bali’s mainland. The waters at Manta Point can be chilly due to Indian Ocean currents, but visibility is often excellent, allowing for great exploration and photography of the abundant marine life. Other sights include occasional sea turtles, reef sharks, and the oceanic sunfish or mola-mola. Within the protected bay, mantas roam freely at around 10 meters, feeding in plankton-rich waters while cleaner wrasses remove parasites from their bodies.
- Angel’s Billabong - Angel’s Billabong is located near Pasih Uug (Broken Beach), another popular site known for its unique limestone formations. This naturally formed rock lagoon offers a picturesque seascape. Visitors can swim or soak in its crystal-clear rock pools during low tide. The rock pools are a must-see for those visiting Nusa Penida, an island famous for its stunning cliffs and pristine coastlines. Both Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach are popular attractions, yet you may have the natural infinity pool to yourself. It’s advisable to explore Broken Beach first, admiring its natural limestone arches over the blue waters, before taking a dip in Angel’s Billabong.
- Pasih Uug Beach - Broken Beach is characterized by a hilly, arch-like rock formation, a distinctive landmark of the area. Overlooking the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean, Broken Beach is ideal for travel photographers and those seeking panoramic views. The surrounding area is also home to grey long-tailed macaques. With some luck, you might spot silhouettes of giant mantas near the water’s surface.
- Kelingking Beach - At Kelingking Beach, visitors can enjoy sweeping views from a specially built platform, bordered by bamboo fences. For those daring enough to trek down to the beach, it is best done during low tide. Some parts of the path are steep and may require a bit of rock climbing, especially on the return trip. Locals have placed rocks and bamboo to assist visitors. Once on the sand, you will often have the beach to yourself. Depending on the tide, the waters may be suitable for swimming, but be cautious of strong undercurrents, as there are no lifeguards. Besides a camera and sturdy shoes, bring water to stay hydrated during the descent. A visit to Kelingking Beach can be combined with a trip to a nearby temple.

Excellent experience - Great day snorkeling. Everything was very well organised from taxi, ferry and snorkeling. We were delighted to see Manta Ray's, a turtle and beautiful fish and corals.

Great experience - recommend - Amazing experience and great day out! - Be ready to get in the water ASAP when you arrive at each spot as you only have a short period of time at each snorkelling location. Recommend this company as they were very professional and organised. We also got picked up and dropped off to our hotel by a lovely driver named Budi who very kindly drove us for long periods of time.

Awesome performance and Driver to the TOP - We were lucky enough to have Budy as our driver, and everything was perfect from start to finish.
He was very attentive to our expectations, arrived perfectly on time and took the time to explain each step with great clarity and kindness. Always available and attentive, it made our day fluid and pleasant.
The excursion itself was equally memorable: the sea was splendid and we had the incredible chance to see a majestic manta ray as well as a turtle! A unique moment that will remain etched in our memories

Great day, swam with manta ray - Great day snorkelling with manta and loads of fish. 4 different stops for snorkelling. Currents are quite strong but if you are concerned you can wear a life jacket.
The water was calm the day we went so no issues with rough fast ferry crossing, very smooth.
Our driver Budi was great. Picked us up from our accommodation in Bingin and was waiting when we arrived back at Sanur Port. We asked for lunch recommendations and he took us to a great spot at Jimbaran and waited for us while we had lunch before driving us back to our villa.

An excursion for the most famous highlights of Nusa Penida Island. - It was a great trip. The drivers Komang and Budi were very friendly and helpful at all times, although the English skills on our part are not outstanding. However, we had booked a German-speaking guide and paid extra. This was a bit annoying, but we were able to communicate well despite all this.

Driver was very experienced and good, both from hotel to port and back. Boat trip felt unsafe because of the waves - Driver was amazing from hotel to port, very safe and a good driver.
The boat trip felt a bit unsafe because of the waves, but the captain was experienced.

good taxi driver - taxi from and to the hotel ★★★★★
after we got off the boat we kind of got lost, because no one was waiting for us, and a nearby taxi driver helped us out
also there was no tour around - just waiting at the snorkel tour

False advertising on the guide in French yet paid more - It is not the local drivers and guides that I do not rate very highly because they have done their job properly. I rate TRIP ADVISOR with whom I booked a much more expensive excursion than elsewhere (for the same services) because it was indicated that the guide was in French. However, everything was in English and there were not even any real explanations/comments on the island. There is also a planned spot on the program where we did not go. As a bonus, boats to go to dive spots are too fast and dangerous. We haven't seen manta rays: too many tourists, too many boats... In short, an excursion with some nice views but far too expensive for what it is... Don't be fooled by the guide in English: on this point, Trip ADVISOR refused to partially refund us even though it is a false advertisement.
