Great time - Great trip. Not for the fainthearted but overal amazing trip. We did the 3 day tour and I recommend it more than the 2 day one.

3 day trekking - Great experience trekking with this company, they supported us we'll across the three days with lots of food and helped us with whatever we needed.

Only with Gili Recommeended - It was great. Everything organized as best as possible:) It is a demanding trek, but thanks to the accommodation in the mountains it becomes more enjoyable. I recommend!

Amazing scenery, but only recommend for EXPERIENCED trekkers - While the scenery from the top and ridge of Rinjani was undeniably spectacular, the hike up and down was in one word, brutal. I only recommend this hike if you are an experienced trekker. (There's a reason it's two or three days with camping at the top) On top of that, I recommend the hike during the dry season, if there's rain your clothes and shoes will get soaked and covered in mud, even in your waterproof bag. (The lack of dry clothes during the cold night makes for an unpleasant combination) The porters and guides did what they could to help the situation, but I cannot stress enough that you know in advance what you're in for. It is an absolute once in a lifetime adventure, just go during the right time of the year and come with the right expectations.

They Canceled - I booked this and planned my initial stay around it. I later reached out about the pickup point and that is when they told me the whole park is closed in February. They tried to talk about a different trek, but couldn't tell me if it was 2 or 3 days - the communication wasn't understandable. They shouldn't offer this for these dates.

3 day 2 night Rinjiani trek - I must say, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication and organization during our tour. It seems like our guide didn't have much experience leading a trekking group. It was hard to get a clear idea of the planning and alternatives in case of unexpected events. For example, in our group of 8, 2 members had difficulty following the group and arrived 3 hours later after the summit climb. At this point, our guide was unable to provide us with good and clear options as to what to do next. As far as the trekking equipement, sleeping bag and tent were not not very good quality.

Horrible customer service and scam - Awful on the customer service front and our experience made it seem like a scam. Would not recommend this company. I paid for the 2 night trek and the hike was cancelled after 1 night due to poor weather overnight as per the guides decision. I messaged the tour company before the hike asking about the bad weather forecast. They said “rinjani doesn’t rain” (don’t ask me why I believed that). I understand that the storm is not the fault of the tour company, but I was misled about weather information and persuaded to continue the trip regardless. Second, the weather cleared up on day 2 and we could have continued the journey but due to cheap equipment failure (all of the tents were broken and sleeping bags soaked) we had no choice to stay another night. Regardless, we would have had plenty of time to still summit the mountain or visit the hot springs but the guides insisted we head directly back home. The worst part is, as we reached the bottom of the mountain we saw the next tour groups heading up. We overheard the guides saying to each other that the same storm will happen again the following night but the groups are led up the mountain anyways. This really made the activity feel like a scam. Other disappointments were that there was no toilet as promised, the accommodation the night before was absolutely horrible (moldy, so many bugs, no locks for the room, plugged toilets), and there was no communication regarding transfers before and after the hike leading to a ton of confusion and delays. I reached out to the company to ask for a partial refund as outlined in the company’s weather policy when I booked (I am a reasonable person, I was polite) and they ignored several of my messages before connecting me with someone else named Rosi. Now 2 days after my trip was cancelled, Rosi tells me that she cannot refund me. However, she said that she WOULD have paid for my trip from Lombok back to Bali, but I had already finished the trip and the offer was too late, after the fact. After asking if I could be reimbursed for this trip back to Bali, I was ignored several times again. Do not book with this company. So disappointing.

Disappointing from the start to the end - The whole trip was not well organized, there was no clear informations on the hike from the start to the end. The tourists were the ones to make the plan of the day and not the guide. And because of the lack of experience of the guide, their was a huge delay in our hike that we couldn't do our original itinerary, the guide told us it was impossible and charged us an extra 600000$ to pick us up at our starting point. The hired crew/porters was not equipped well, they asked us to use our head lamps, and to use our painkillers/antibiotics because they didn't have any medical kit.. the other disappointing thing was how dirty the mountain is, the guides and porters throws their trash EVERYWHERE. In general I and the whole group were disappointed!
