• Whistling Dune Bay Tourist Scienc Spot - At 8am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Hohhot hotel, then take 2.5-hour car ride to the Xiangshawan Desert, or Whistling Dune Bay in English, which is part of the huge Kubuqi Desert. There are two parts here for tourist to enjoy the camel-riding, cable car, and desert car etc. which are included in the entrance tickets.
  In the afternoon, you will take the car back to your Hohhot hotel where the wonderful day tour concludes.

Exploring the desert at Xiangshawan, also known as Whistling Dune Bay, is an exciting experience. Located within the vast Kubuqi Desert, it is 210 km south of Hohhot. This desert amusement area offers a variety of activities such as cable car rides, desert carts, camel rides, sand sliding, and a desert train. Additionally, visitors can enjoy dance performances and acrobatic shows at the desert resort theater.

Tours are available with or without a guide. If opting for a tour without a guide, please be aware that the driver speaks only Chinese, but can use a cell phone for translation if needed. Pickup from your centrally located hotel in Hohhot is at 8 am.
