  Welcome to the seal carving workshop, where participants can explore the art of crafting their own personalized stone seal. This workshop offers more than just exquisite craftsmanship—it provides an opportunity to experience the meditative joy of traditional Korean seal carving. Participants will be guided through the entire process of creating their own seal, starting with two unique carving techniques. They will learn how to properly handle engraving tools as they practice making straight lines and circles. Then, assistance will be provided in designing their name in a style that perfectly suits them.
  Once the design is complete, instruction will be given on how to carefully carve it. After the carving is finished, participants will experience the satisfaction of applying traditional Korean ink and making their first stamp. An elegant seal case will protect and display their handcrafted seal.
  This creative process often helps individuals rediscover the deeper meaning of their names—something that can be overlooked in our busy lives. As a special touch, a calligraphy message of their choice will be written on a card for them to take home.
  The handcrafted seal will serve as a lasting reminder of their time in Seoul, far more meaningful than any other souvenir.
