An excellent if very hot day out - Elaine our driver and guide picked us up on time from our hotel and was friendly from the word go making sure we had drinks and snacks all day and that we were comfortable, with Elaine giving us lots of interesting information about the sights on the way, the sight of Death Valley from above was breathtaking and a magnificent sight again hats off to Elaine for pointing out things we would never have noticed, Furnace creek was extremely hot as you might have guessed! and the devils golf course and Badwater basin were remarkable Elaine got us all back to our hotel safe and sound and we would do this trip again in a heartbeat

Death Valley Tour From Las Vegas - My parents and I had an incredible time on the Death Valley tour from Las Vegas! Pick up was very straightforward and the van was comfortable with lots of snacks and water. The views at each stop were incredible, our favorite stops were artists palette and Dante’s Peak. Our tour guide Orlin was very knowledgeable about the area, friendly, gave us ample time to explore different stops and took great group photos! Would definitely recommend this tour!

Death Valley is a must-see, and must do using MaxTour - I wish there were more than 5 stars to describe my experience with MaxTour, specifically their Death Valley Small Group Day Tour from Las Vegas. I used Viator to book, but next time I will book directly. The whole 12 hour trip went like clockwork, from pick up to drop off, and everything in between. It was such a pleasant chill tour, since I wasn't having to do the driving. Loved the small group experience vs the giant bus (like the one we used for Hoover Dam a few days prior). It makes the process of getting on and off the bus, checking out the sites, meals, etc. go WAY quicker and easier. Definitely go with a small group tour, you won't regret it. Death Valley is an incredibly beautiful, magical place. I seriously had no idea just how gorgeous the national park was, expecting a pile of rocks! Salt Flats at Badwater Basin, the many colors of rock at Artists Palette, golden colored badlands from Zabriskie Point, and the expansive views at Dantes View were some of the highlights. The pictures just don't do this place justice, and can't capture the beauty. It's a must see in person. Jonny was our tour guide and driver, and he did an amazing job at both tasks. Not only was he professional, kind, patient, friendly and fun, he had super taste in music. We got to listen to some great tunes the whole ride to Death Valley and back. Jonny was able to impart his vast knowledge of the park, but also Las Vegas, so he really kept the day interesting. I'm already looking at doing another MaxTour next year while in Vegas. If it's anything like our Death Valley tour, I know we're in good hands!

Death Valley is a must see! - We took this small group tour of Death Valley, and were so glad we did. We had no idea Death Valley was as beautiful and magical as it is. Seriously thought we were going to see a pile of rocks! Death Valley has so many interesting areas to see: Salt Flats at Badwater Basin, the many colors of rock at Artist's Palette, golden colored badlands from Zabriskie Point, and expansive view at Dante's View. Just a stunning, gorgeous place! Our tour guide and driver Jonny was incredibly kind, informative, and had the best taste in music. We got to hear all the classics on the 12 hour tour. We recommend this tour whole heartedly!

The tour was scheduled... - The tour was scheduled for pickup at 7 am. The email on the day before the trip said 10:30 am pickup. My E-ticket still stated 7 am so I emailed to make sure this was a legitimate change and not a standard email with the wrong time. The email never emphasized this was a changed pickup time. I sent an email at 2:30 pm and no response came back. We were at the pickup place at 7 am and finally found a number to call to find out 10:30 was correct. We had 3.5 hours to kill. Breakfast was listed as included but only chips were offered plus water. No box lunch in place of breakfast was provided and no dinner stop happened either. We had lunch at the Oasis on our dime which was very busy and therefore very slow and told, as an option, to buy something for dinner at the General Store. The tour director gave some information but more was desired. However music was played the whole time in the SUV which was annoying to say the least. The park was very interesting but of course not much was able to be viewed due to time constraints. The sunset at Dante's View was great. However, the steep climb to the view caused the SUV to overheat and it needed to sit for 30 minutes to cool off before traveling further. The engine light was on all the way back to Vegas.
