• Monodendri - Monodendri is entirely constructed with local stone and slate, preserving the traditional Zagori style. A visit to the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi (15th century), one of the oldest monasteries in Zagori, is recommended. It is built right into the cliffside.

The cliffs descend nearly 1,000 meters into the gorge below. • Vitsa - Vitsa is built amphitheatrically on a slope, providing panoramic views over the gorge and the opposite village of Monodendri. It is divided into Ano (Upper) and Kato (Lower) Vitsa, with cobblestone paths connecting the areas. Traditional Epirus-style mansions, stone walls, and slate roofs contribute to its pure Zagori charm.
