Wonderful day in Perak - We had a truly fabulous day and couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Rajan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and offered excellent insights into the history, culture, politics, and the spiritual traditions of the area, including Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism.
The itinerary was fantastic—we visited Perak Cave Temple, Sam Poh Tong Temple, Tasik Cermin (Mirror Lake), and Gua Tempurung, which was absolutely amazing. Rajan even made a great lunch stop, ensuring we had time to refuel and enjoy some local flavors.
He also went above and beyond by sharing helpful tips for the rest of our trip, and even made a special effort to track down some satay for my husband, which was such a thoughtful touch.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience

An unforgettable experience! - I had a wonderful day exploring some of the well known local landmarks around Ipoh. Rajan, my guide, was very knowledgeable about the local history and explained the backgrounds of all the sites visited. I am so glad that I made the decision to book this tour and recommend it to anyone wanting to discover more about the Ipoh region of Perak.

Recommend Day Tour - Ipoh - We had an amazing day with Jai as our guide. Jai is extremely friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and very flexible in accommodating our requests. He shared a lot of interesting information, and went above and beyond to make our entire tour a very smooth and enjoyable one.
He gave us recommendations of restaurants for authentic local food. All in all, a totally successful and super organised tour. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend Ipoh City Tour - Had a fantastic day with Jai as our guide! Very passionate, flexible and informative, thanks for organising our day extremely well.
What really stood out was his deep knowledge of Ipoh. He explained the history and shared interesting facts in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, kept us entertained the whole time.

Great caves tour around Ipoh - We had a fantastic experience with Jai in Ipoh. He sed on timing — avoiding peak traffic and long queues so we could make the most of our day.
He was thoughtful and professional throughout, providing us with water and umbrellas, checking in on us while we waited for food, and always making sure we were comfortable. He was very responsive, anticipated our questions before we even asked, and kept the tour engaging from start to finish.
Overall, he was approachable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ipoh!

Great day out exploring - Great day out to visit the sights outside of Ipoh! Loved visiting the cave temples and Gua tempering! Wouldn’t have been able to see these places without Jai, Thanks Jai for a great day out!

Ipoh 1-Day Tour for the most satisfied solo travellers - Together with my guide Rajan, I went on a wonderful full-day tour of Ipoh.
He was particularly knowledgeable about the geology of caves, cave temples and the history of the region, and I could tell he really enjoyed explaining them to me. That enthusiasm made the tour even more interesting. Even though he couldn't understand it at first, he explained it carefully over and over again, using different words and analogies without a single nasty face.
In the morning we were picked up at a hotel in Ipoh, in the morning we visited Pelatong Cave Temple, San Po Tong Cave Temple, Namcheon Cave, Lingxian Rock, Mirror Lake and in the afternoon we visited the tea plantations in Gahal, Gua Templen and Kerry Castle. The tour was from 9am to 18:30pm, very well thought out and efficient.
I was especially grateful that I was not rushed anywhere. I was able to look around freely at the temple at my own pace until I was satisfied. We stopped by a local restaurant for lunch, which was reasonably priced at 12-13 ringgit, including drinks, and was delicious. It didn't take long and we didn't waste sightseeing time.
This tour is highly recommended for those who want to see Ipoh in its entirety in a day, as well as those travelling alone. Rajan has also toured with Cameron Highland, so I'd love to see you next time.
I highly recommend it.
Entrance fees and lunch fees for places like Miller Lake and Gua Templen are payable at the time of entry as stated in the tour guide, so please bring around 100RM+ in cash.
