Iquitos Amazon Region - Guests will be collected from Iquitos airport or their hotel and driven to Bellavista port. From there, they will embark on a 70km journey to the Jungle Lodge, observing caimans and turtles in the river along the way. After enjoying a traditional lunch at the lodge, the group will visit Monkey Island to see various monkey species, caimans, and turtles, followed by pink river dolphin spotting. Dinner will be served back at the lodge, after which a guided night hike in the rainforest will take place, offering sightings of nocturnal creatures like lizards, monkeys, and insects.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Following breakfast, the group will navigate to the Amazon basin for a wildlife tour, exploring the lush rainforest and its diverse flora and fauna. After lunch, they will return to the Amazon River to fish for piranhas and catfish and view the giant aquatic plants known as Victoria Regia. The day concludes with a return to the lodge after sunset, dinner, and a brief night excursion to observe caimans.

Palo Alto Viewpoint - Wildlife Spotting - Jungle Lagoon Visit - Palo Alto Camping

Iquitos Amazon Region - After breakfast, the group will head to the Palo Alto viewpoint for a panoramic view of the Amazon rainforest. A short canoe trip will follow, allowing for piranha fishing and visits to nearby lagoons. Lunch will be served back at Palo Alto. The afternoon includes a wildlife spotting tour and a sunset viewing, followed by dinner at the lodge and another night hike. The day ends with camping at Palo Alto.

Sunrise Spotting - Local Village Visit - Wildlife Spotting - Night Tour - Jungle Lodge

Iquitos Amazon Region - An early breakfast will be followed by sunrise viewing. The group will then visit a local native village to learn about Amazon rainforest customs, returning to the Jungle Lodge for lunch. Afternoon activities include exploring nearby lagoons and tributaries, with opportunities for canoeing, fishing, animal spotting, and swimming in the Amazon River. After dinner at the lodge, another nocturnal rainforest hike will take place.

Jungle Hike - Giant Ceiba Tree Visit - Yungas Tribe - Iquitos

Iquitos Amazon Region - A short guided jungle hike will occur after breakfast, featuring a visit to the magnificent Giant Ceiba trees, among the largest in the Amazon rainforest. This trip offers a final chance to admire the region’s stunning flora and fauna. The group will then return to the lodge to board a boat back to Iquitos city, where they will visit the Yungas tribe to learn about their customs and traditions. Finally, guests will be transferred back to their hotel or the Iquitos airport.
