Day 1:

Iquitos - Hotel pick-up and transfer to Bellavista Nanay Port.

Embark on a comfortable and secure traditional boat for a journey along the Amazon River, offering a stunning view where the river majestically flows through the vibrant jungle.

Dolphin Watching: Spot grey or pink dolphins during the trip.

Amazon River - Visit to the “Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE“:
Experience a visit and dance with the tribe, who have preserved the region’s biodiversity through their extensive knowledge of plants and natural medicine, thriving in this challenging environment. Their rich oral tradition shares stories and myths that explain their origins and connection with nature.

Amazon River - ISLA DE LOS MONOS – Neyser:
Continue navigating the Amazon to a creek where monkeys live in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, various monkey species will greet you, offering a chance to learn about, feed, play, and take photos with them in their natural surroundings!

Amazon River - Arrival at our Lodge, where a brief explanation of the lodge’s sustainability rules and its surroundings will enhance your understanding of the jungle.

Iquitos Amazon Region - SWIMMING IN THE AMAZON:
After lunch, enjoy a 30-minute break before heading to the Amazon River for a refreshing swim, exploring its beaches, and experiencing a mud bath ritual with black clay.

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN SUNSET:
Witness the stunning sunset over the Amazon (weather permitting) and observe dolphins (seasonal).

Iquitos Amazon Region - Dinner at Amazon Camp.

Iquitos Amazon Region - NIGHT EXCURSION:
Explore the lush jungle to observe various insects, tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, monkeys, and nocturnal birds.

Day 2

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN SUNRISE:
Observe the sunrise while listening to and spotting different bird species.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Breakfast at the Amazon Camp.

Iquitos Amazon Region - RESCUE CENTER:
Visit the Wildlife Rescue Center (“Fundo Rony”) to see and interact with wild animals like sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. This is a great way to appreciate and respect Amazonian wildlife. Note: Animals are kept in cages temporarily for care before release.

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN DISTILLERY:
Taste artisanal macerations like camu camu, 7 roots, and ginger, offering medicinal benefits. These infusions boost health by strengthening the immune system with camu camu’s vitamin C, improving digestion and vitality with 7 roots, and easing digestive discomfort and nausea with ginger.

Embark on a botanical walk to learn about the main trees and medicinal plants in the Amazon.

Amazon River - YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION:
Board a peque peque boat to navigate the Yanayacu River, a remote jungle area with incredible biodiversity, lush forests, winding rivers, and unique wildlife.

Amazon River - GIANT TREE TRAIL:
Reach the giant tree to make a wish to Mother Nature beneath the roots of the Lupuna tree.

Iquitos Amazon Region - YAGUAS INDIGENOUS TRIBE:
Learn about the Yaguas tribe, whose ancestors were discovered by Francisco de Orellana during his first Amazon exploration in 1541. Discover their ancestral customs, admire their original palm fiber clothing, and test your aim with the “pucuna” (blowgun) used for centuries for hunting.

After lunch, the guide will inform the exact time to start the next activity, visiting the village of Fátima to learn more about this riverside community along the Amazon River.

At night, listen to stories about Amazonian myths, tales, and legends, which are integral to the local Loreto identity, such as: (Yacuruna, Sachamama, Chullachaqui).

Day 4

Iquitos - BUTTERFLY HOUSE: After breakfast, visit the San Rafael Butterfly House, a farming community. Discover various butterfly species in this magical place that immerses you in the fleeting beauty of butterflies. This captivating sanctuary offers a unique experience in the heart of nature.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Self-service lunch at the Lodge with typical jungle dishes.

After lunch, relax or enjoy the pool. At the appropriate time, board the boat to return to Iquitos.

Plaza de Armas de Iquitos - Return to the city of Iquitos.
