Day 1:

Iquitos - Hotel pick-up and transfer to Bellavista Nanay Port.

Embark on a comfortable and secure traditional boat for a journey along the Amazon River, offering a stunning view as the river winds through the vibrant jungle.

Dolphin Watching: Spot grey or pink dolphins during the trip.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Visit to the “Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE“:
Experience a visit and dance with the tribe, who are stewards of the region’s biodiversity, utilizing their extensive knowledge of plants and natural medicine to thrive in this challenging environment. Their rich oral traditions share stories and myths that explain their origins and connection with nature.

Iquitos Amazon Region - ISLA DE LOS MONOS – Neyser:
Continue navigating the Amazon to a creek where monkeys live in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, various monkey species will greet you, offering a chance to learn about, feed, play, and photograph them in their natural surroundings.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Arrival at our Lodge, where a brief on the sustainability rules of the lodge and its surroundings will enhance your understanding of the jungle.

Lunch: Enjoy typical jungle dishes. (Please notify us in advance for vegetarian options)

Iquitos Amazon Region - SWIMMING IN THE AMAZON:
After lunch, enjoy a 30-minute break before heading to the Amazon River for a refreshing swim, beach time, and a mud bath ritual with black clay.

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN SUNSET:
Witness the stunning sunset over the Amazon (weather permitting) and watch dolphins (seasonal).

Iquitos Amazon Region - NIGHT EXCURSION:
Explore the lush jungle to observe various insects, tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, monkeys, and nocturnal birds.

Day 2

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN SUNRISE:
Observe the sunrise and listen to and spot different bird species.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Breakfast at the Amazon Camp.

Iquitos Amazon Region - RESCUE CENTER:
Visit the Wildlife Rescue Center (“Fundo Rony”) to see and interact with wild animals like sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. This is a great way to appreciate and respect Amazonian wildlife. Note: Animals are kept in cages temporarily for care before release.

Iquitos Amazon Region - AMAZONIAN DISTILLERY:
Taste artisanal macerations like camu camu, 7 roots, and ginger, offering medicinal benefits. These infusions boost health by strengthening the immune system with camu camu’s vitamin C, aiding digestion, and enhancing vitality with 7 roots, and easing digestive issues and nausea with ginger.

Iquitos Amazon Region - PIRANHA FISHING:
Prepare for an artisanal fishing tour, where the guide will teach local piranha fishing techniques using materials that Amazonian locals use for subsistence.

Embark on a canoe trip to search for caimans. Learn about their ecological role, then release them back into their habitat.

Day 3

Take a botanical walk to learn about the main trees and medicinal plants in the Amazon.

Iquitos Amazon Region - YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION:
Board a peque peque boat to explore the Yanayacu River. This remote jungle area boasts incredible biodiversity, with lush forests, winding rivers, and unique wildlife.

Iquitos Amazon Region - GIANT TREE TRAIL:
Reach the giant tree to make a wish to Mother Nature beneath the Lupuna tree’s roots.

Iquitos Amazon Region - YAGUAS INDIGENOUS TRIBE:
Discover the tribe whose ancestors were found by Francisco de Orellana during his first Amazon exploration in 1541. Learn about their ancestral customs, admire their palm fiber clothing, and test your aim with the “pucuna” (blowgun) used for centuries for hunting.

Iquitos Amazon Region - VISIT TO RIVERSIDE VILLAGE:
After lunch, the guide will announce the start of our next activity, visiting the village of Fátima to learn more about this riverside community along the Amazon River.

At night, listen to stories about Amazonian myths, tales, and legends, which are integral to the local Loreto identity, such as: (Yacuruna, Sachamama, Chullachaqui).

Day 4

Iquitos Amazon Region - Breakfast

Iquitos - BUTTERFLY HOUSE: After breakfast, visit the San Rafael Butterfly House, a farming community. Discover various butterfly species in this magical place that immerses you in the fleeting beauty of butterflies. This enchanting butterfly sanctuary offers a unique experience in the heart of nature.

Iquitos Amazon Region - Self-service lunch at the Lodge with typical jungle dishes.

After lunch, relax or enjoy the pool. At the appropriate time, board the boat to return to Iquitos.

Plaza de Armas de Iquitos - Return to Iquitos city around 5:30 pm.
