Day 1

Amazon Wonder Expeditions - • 9:00 AM Transfer to the port of Bellavista Nanay. • Explore the traditional market of Bellavista Nanay, where you can see the fruits and typical foods of the jungle such as aguaje, the edible suri worm, juanes, various fish, and more. • Board the boat. • Begin the journey from the Nanay River, observing the confluence of the rivers and the contrasting colors of the waters. • Navigate through the Amazon River. • Arrive at the lodge and settle in. • Enjoy a boat ride on the Amazon River to search for gray and pink freshwater dolphins. This is an opportunity to swim near the dolphins. Continue to observe wildlife along the riverbank and enjoy the sunset on the Amazon River. • Take a nocturnal walk through the jungle, where biological activity is vastly different from daytime. Listen to the sounds of the nocturnal forest and spot species that only appear at night, such as fireflies, beetles, walking sticks, frogs, tarantulas, and snakes.

Day 2

Amazon Wonder Expeditions - • Sunrise Tour at 5:30 AM for sunrise and bird watching (optional). • Walk through the jungle to observe flora and fauna, including monkeys, birds, insects, and a wide variety of medicinal plants. • Visit the Yaguas Native community, one of the oldest in the Amazon, and participate in their ancestral customs, exotic dances, and crafts.

Day 3

Amazon Wonder Expeditions - Full-day exploration of the Yanayacu River, discovering its black waters, biodiversity, and the rich flora and fauna of its primary forest, including various species of birds, sloths, and monkeys. • Walk through the jungle to observe different animal species in their natural habitat, such as monkeys, birds, insects, and a great variety of medicinal plants. • Observe the giant tree known as “Lupuna” or “Ceiba Petandra.”

Day 4

Amazon Wonder Expeditions - • Visit the community of San Rafael to appreciate the villagers’ lifestyle, including hunting, fishing, and agriculture. • Visit The Butterfly Farm to learn about the lifecycle of the forest’s most representative species and the entire metamorphosis process. • Visit the Trapiche, a handmade cane rum factory. • Search for Pink or Gray Dolphins. • Return to the city.
