Fabulous Jan 1st 2026 tour - What a wonderful experience. Coming from Florida as a 1st timer I wanted to make sure I picked the right guide. It was an absolute YES on our choice. He met us at the hotel, showed us to the boat, gave us an amazing 6 hours of exploring the Amazon river and brought us back. All attractions he covered the fees, and really has helpful in explaining but not too much where we got to enjoy our alone time. Highly recommend.

Great Guide/ ¡Gran guía! - Kelwin a skilled, nice and thoughtful guide. He was a responsive and good communicator that made me feel ¡Gran guía! before we arrived and I felt totally safe with him when we got there too more importantly he made my family, including my little girl (2.5 years old) feel safe and he took good care of us I would totally use him again if I go back to Iquitos. He’s local, knows the jungle, speaks Spanish and English, and he’s very kind. I really appreciated how he set everything up for us and worked to make sure we had a good time.

Worth it! - I chose this tour partly because of the 5 star reviews. I understand why the previous people gave 5worthy stars. Kelwin is a professional! He brought my son and I on a fabulous introductory trip to the Peruvian Amazon. He is a knowledgeable, kind, considerate guide. I felt completely safe with him. I really appreciated the private trip - we barely ran into another tour group. We went at our own pace and were saw beautiful sites and experienced different animals. The animals were not treated poorly and there was no inappropriate interactions with Indigenous people. Thank you, Kelwin, for the lifetime memories.

Fantastic tour - Fantastic trip with Javier. So nice to have a private tour. We went to the giant tree, then the fish farm, Monkey island and then found dolphins. Javier was born in the jungle and is a really experienced guide so we were very lucky to have such knowledge to draw on. He also spoke great English. A fabulous trip.

Very satisfied! - Wonderful day spent on the Amazon river and in the jungle! Our guide Keylan was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Our stroll through the jungle on our way to the monkey sanctuary was very informative as he explained the different trees, flowers and tree berries. We enjoyed visiting the monkey sanctuary which is operated by dedicated volunteers and learned much about the monkeys we saw and what brought them into the care of this sanctuary. Highly recommend this tour! It does not disappoint!

A great day tour in the Amazons! - This experience was so unique and fulfilling! Kelwin contacted us ahead of time. He is fully bilingual. As my crew don’t speak Spanish, this made things easy for us. His friendly and processional approach set the tone for what it became a fantastic tour. Kelwin picked us up at our hotel, led us to the boat and provided us with interesting facts about everything we saw in this private tour for my group of 6. We visited an animal farm where we got to feed exotic birds, piranhas, and Paiches (one of the largest fish ever I’ve seen). From then, We went to Monkey island, which is a sanctuary for rescued monkeys. We saw about 8 different types of monkeys and it was just spectacular! On our way back through the Amazon river to town, Kelwin and his driver (I can’t remember his name but super nice guy) took a detour as they spotted dolphins. We got to see both gray and pink dolphins! What an adventure. This day tour lasted approximately 7 hours and our tour guide was super punctual, which is something we appreciated! I recommend Kelwin’s tour 100%, you will be happy you booked him!

Highly Recommended - Knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. From pick up to return, Kelwin took care of us as a seasoned tour guide. Apparently there are fake monkey islands, so going with a proven Tripadvisor guide is the way to go! Highly recommended!

Best tour guide in Iquitos - Kelwin & his team were fantastic from the beginning. We had a group of 14 & planned out our trip over a 2 day visit. Kelwin was responsive & knowledgeable. He helped us to plan our own customized itinerary for our visit. We had a traveling issue with our flight & ended up having to condense it all into 1 day last minute. Kelwin was understanding & made our visit to the Amazon spectacular even though we had a rough start to our trip. We started off taking the tuk tuks to the Belen market & the jungle pharmacy. Along with a boat trip to see the floating city & Itaya,Amazonas and Nanay rivers. We then took a boat on the Amazon to the real monkey island, Fundo Pedrito Fish Farm, the viewpoint of Independencia villige, Jungle Hike to the giant amazonian tree called"La Lupuna". It was beautiful & I appreciate that they were able to take care of our big group. Kelwin & his team will take care of you! It was a beautiful & humbling experience that I will never forget.

Excellent experience to spend the day in the wild close to Iquitos - Excellent tour guide and great experience overall; Kelwin provides detailed information and makes things interesting. We visited the Monkey Island, the Rescue center, the Giant Tree and aquatic species center and it was all fun and unique. The boat rides between sites on the Amazon river were part of the adventure too and we saw dolphins. I highly recommend.

Amazing Amazon Tour!! - Kelwin put together an amazing tour and was so accommodating to our group after some travel delays. We enjoyed our guided tour-all the stops and information about Iquitos were great. Monkey Island was very fun-we could not touch the monkeys but did get to see them up close and learn about them. Belen market and the river tour near the market was a great way to see how the locals eat and live. Thank you Kelwin for a wonderful day!
