Tour guide was AWESOME - The English tour guide was very helpfully, friendly and was full of positive energy despite the lateness of the time. He bought different animals from the jungle to the beach to ensure people could get to see the views that were promised in the photos. He was also very patient and kind despite customers asking for different shoe sizes a million times, which would frustrate me but his kindness extended through the whole trip and was very awesome and made me and the wife laugh a lot.

Kids are so excited about the jungle creatures at night!!! - It was my first night tour with my kids. They are creatures-loving kids, so I was really looking forward to seeing what creatures they could find. It's a lot of fun just to take your flashlight and explore the dark jungle! We discovered various creatures such as geckos and frogs, but were having trouble meeting the palm crabs we were looking for, so we were talking about giving up this time, when our guide Kousei climbed the rocks to discover them! The kids are so excited. It was a great tour to meet the palm crabs I had been waiting for, see the perfect starry sky, and see the amazing scenery. It was nice to meet a good guide. The kids want to go on this tour if they come to Ishigaki again. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A child who loves living things was very excited! - I joined with my 5-year-old child and family. We were worried about it on a late night tour, but we had a wonderful experience that put that worry behind us! Just walking through the jungle at night with a flashlight in hand is exciting for children. There were a few areas where my feet were in danger, but the guide pulled my child's hand and gave me talks that raised my child's spirits. The guide told us about various creatures and plants, and the children who loved living things were very excited. It was a very satisfying tour for adults as well, to see the starry sky and children happy. On the way back, I was sleeping rough and had to carry him to bed without showering, but I was really glad I took the plunge and went on the tour. The family photo taken with the Big Dipper in the background was one of the best memories of the trip I will ever remember. I'd also recommend it to everyone.

Impressed by the stars in the sky!!! - Watch your step, observe the trees and creatures in the south and go through the forest to see the starry sky! The thrill of turning off your lights and looking up at the sky is something you can't get anywhere else! It's a great tour. Thank you very much, guide Kousei 😊

Situationally good - We had an OK time on the night tour. We saw a wild boar cross the road on the way there and a heron in the middle of the road on the way back. We saw small hermit crabs and a cicada, and people at the front of the tour saw a scorpion, but it left by the time we got there, since we had to hike single-file. We did see some coconut crabs from afar during the jungle cave exploration, and the guide climbed up to take close photos and sent them via WhatsApp the next day. The jungle has many pretty pieces of washed up bleached coral, and the crabs were hiding in the coral limestone caves. We saw a good amount of stars, it being a clear night, but another family on the tour gave their four-year-old a flashlight and he kept shining it in our faces. If the guides don’t time it right, another group will be walking to the jungle with flashlights while you are trying to see the stars on the beach (we were the group walking by while another was on the beach). The guide spoke enough English that we understood all the instructions and descriptions. Photos in this review were taken by the guide.
