Islamabad - Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, participants will be transferred to their hotel. The day is reserved for leisure, allowing guests to unwind and recuperate from their travels.

Islamabad to Skardu

Skardu - Take a scenic one-hour flight from Islamabad Airport to Skardu. The day is free for sightseeing and shopping at Skardu Bazaar. Visits include Manthal Rock Buddha, Kharpocho Fort, Organic Village, and Skardu Bazaar.

Alternatively, if the flight is canceled due to weather, travel by road from Islamabad via the Karakoram Highway, with brief stops at various tourist attractions.

Islamabad - The flight from Skardu to Islamabad takes 40 minutes. After lunch, the afternoon is free for independent sightseeing or relaxation at the hotel. The trip leader will provide guidance on sightseeing options. Shopping for handmade rugs is a popular choice. In the evening, gather for a celebratory meal at the hotel or a local restaurant.

Contingency Day for Delays

Islamabad - If weather prevents flying, travel to Islamabad by road. If flying from Skardu to Islamabad, enjoy sightseeing in the capital, with options such as a day trip to the Taxila Museum and archaeological sites, as advised by the trip leader.

Masherbrum Peak (7821m), also referred to as K1, is a distinctively shaped mountain with a snow-covered summit that inspires both fear and admiration. Beyond the village of Hushe, Masherbrum looms large, with a path leading to the summer grazing lands of the Hushe villagers. This brief and easy trek into the heart of the Karakorams is suitable for adventurers of all ages and experience levels. The only glacier walk is a simple 30-minute stretch before reaching the base camp.
