Artist of glass - Very helpful group of people, accommodated our restrictions with never using a boat in high tide with rain and wave. Tour was excellent and given personal attention with information and coffee. Great hosts and used a fancy taxi for the ride home felt like James Bond!

Great private educational glass blowing tour!! - We were looking for a glass blowing tour but so many reviews of other tours said they were really short and just an excuse to get you in the gift shop - this was the opposite!! We were met by a private water taxi that took us to Murano, then taken into the glass-blowing area where we were introduced to Marco, who was lovely!! Marco is one of the artistic directors here and spent so much time with us while we watched the artisans work- explaining the different techniques, the history of this site,etc. He even asked the artisans if they would let our kids - ages 18 and 15 - blow glass, which they did! (And made for great videos! :)) After that there was an opportunity to view and purchase some of the art, and it felt like just that - an opportunity to purchase beautiful art and support the local artists, not a high-pressure sale at all. There were also affordable commercial and small pieces, so really there is something for every budget, and it feels like a way to thank and support this beautiful craft. We can’t recommend this tour enough!! Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day for us! :)

Great time but don’t feel pressure to buy anything - Very friendly folks and nice staff. Afterwards they take you to a showroom with very expensive pieces. Don’t feel pressure to buy something unless you absolutely want to!

Murano Marvel - Excellent experience. Visit to Island of Murano followed by visit to Glass Factory including demo of the intricate technique of blowing liquid glass into an intricate object. Davide was excellent as a guide. Prompt and welcoming, he set our expectations high and met them too! Great for those who are time constrained.

Visit to a glass factory - Private tour taken very literally. We were picked up in a private boat with some explanations about the city of Venice by the way. Arrival at the glass factory, very well received with a small coffee and explanations of the mastery of blowing glass in full action. I really liked it! Continuation of the visit through the gallery where are exhibited all the work of the master glassmakers. Very interesting! Don't push for consumption. Possibility to stay in murano a moment after the visit and get taken back by taxi without spending a penny more! Thanks to the team it was a very appreciable moment! I recommend!

Best tour for Murano - Our guide, Davide, went above and beyond. Worked around our schedule.
Was in constant contact with me from the minute I booked.
Was very knowledgeable and very personable, and patient. As a local, he was also very informative. Gave us pointers on where to go and what to do when in Venice. Would highly recommend booking any available tour with him.

Great tour, mixed bag of customer service - Viator absolutely promised me that this non-refundable tour could pick us up and return to the cruise port at Fusina. Shortly after booking, the tour operator replied that it was impossible to do that and no refunds. Viator owned up to the error and promised a goodwill refund, which I have yet to receive.
Upon arrival at Fusina, we were able to catch a cruise shuttle to a dock in Venice, where the tour operator arranged to pick us up and take us to an amazing demo by a Murano glass artist.
1 star for Viator, 4 stars for tour provider for 5-star tour, minus 1 star for no refunds policy, equals a generous 3 stars overall.
