ARRIVAL IN TURKEY

Istanbul - Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival, a representative will greet you at the airport with a sign displaying your name and escort you to your hotel. Enjoy your overnight stay in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL OLD CITY TOUR

Istanbul - You will be collected from your hotel for a full-day tour.

Tour highlights include: Hagia Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Grand Bazaar.

Visit the Hagia Sophia Museum, which was the largest church in the world during the Roman Empire in the 6th century. The next highlight is Topkapi Palace, the center of the Ottoman Empire since the 15th century. Following Topkapi Palace, the guide will take you to the Blue Mosque, the only mosque in Turkey with six minarets.

Near the Blue Mosque, you will explore the ancient Roman Hippodrome, where chariot races were held since the 3rd century in the Roman Empire. Today’s final stop is the Grand Bazaar, the most famous and largest covered market in Turkey, featuring 4,000 shops.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

ISTANBUL TO IZMIR (KUSADASI)

Kusadasi - Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kusadasi.

FULL DAY EPHESUS TOUR

Kusadasi - After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel for a visit to the well-preserved ancient city of Ephesus. Today, you will walk through history, seeing the theater, library, agora, baths, temples, and more. The Ephesus theater is the largest Roman theater, and the library of Ephesus was the third-largest library in the ancient world.

After lunch, visit the House of Mother Mary, where she is believed to have spent four years on Mount Bulbul. In 1967, Pope Paul VI visited the House of Mary in Ephesus. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

FULL DAY PAMUKKALE TOUR

Pamukkale - Today, visit the “White Heaven” in Turkey, known as the Cotton Castle, or Pamukkale in Turkish. You will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Pamukkale to see the white terraces, where you can walk and swim in natural waters. Remember to bring a towel and comfortable clothing for swimming or walking. You will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. After the tour, drive to Antalya, which takes approximately 5 hours. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in Antalya.

ANTALYA OLD CITY TOUR

Antalya - After breakfast, explore Antalya’s Old City (Kaleiçi), Marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, Broken Minaret, and Hidirlik Tower. Kaleiçi is a small historic part of Antalya’s modern city, also known as the Old City of Antalya. Historically, it was a sprawling modern Roman town, then part of the Byzantine Empire, followed by the Seljuks, and finally the Ottoman Turkish town. Hadrian’s Gate, also known as the Three Gates, is a triumphal arch built in honor of Roman Emperor Hadrian. The Broken Minaret of the Korkut Mosque, originally a Roman temple in the 2nd century AD, did not have a minaret. Hıdırlık Tower is a notable tower of tawny stone in Antalya, where Kaleiçi meets Karaalioglu Park. Believed to have been built in the Hellenistic era on a square plan, it was later transformed into a circular tower in the 2nd century AD and was used as a fortification or lighthouse. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight in Antalya.
