Istanbul - Begin your Western Turkey adventure with a transfer to the airport. The driver will collect you from your hotel or Airbnb reception, provided parking is available. You will then be taken to the airport for your flight to Denizli.

Denizli Çardak Airport - Upon arrival at Denizli/Cardak airport, your tour guide and another driver will greet you at the exit gate of the arrival terminal to commence your Pamukkale, Hierapolis, and Laodicea tour.

Pamukkale Thermal Pools - After exploring the Hierapolis Ancient City, enjoy 60-75 minutes of free time to discover the natural beauty of Pamukkale and swim in the white travertines - thermal pools (or the antique pool - Cleopatra’s pool for an additional fee). Rejoin your guide to walk barefoot down the travertines.

Cleopatra Pools - Above the Pamukkale white travertine pools lies a spectacular spot fed by the same hot springs. Here, you can bathe in the waters Cleopatra once enjoyed! A modern spa facility allows you to experience these historic healing waters. Unlike the white water of the lower pools, the Antique Pool favored by Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, is clear and warm. It was once topped by a Roman Temple to Apollo with a decorative roof supported by Doric columns. Imagine Cleopatra’s experience in its heyday.

Pamukkale - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, included in today’s guided tour.

Karahayit - After lunch, participate in a traditional handicraft workshop to learn about Pamukkale’s special stones and metals.

Laodicea - Excavations have uncovered artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). The city was named by the Seleucid king Antiochus II for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC. Later controlled by the kings of Pergamum, it was bequeathed to the Roman Empire and flourished from the 4th to 6th centuries. Its significance earned it a place among the Seven Churches of Revelation.

Pamukkale Tandem Paragliding - Pamukkale Paragliding Adventure (Optional Attraction – Available at an additional cost): Experience Pamukkale’s stunning white travertine and ancient Hierapolis, including the grand theater, from the air on this brief but thrilling paragliding adventure with an experienced pilot. Launch from a slope about 1,300 feet (400 meters) high and glide over the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Kusadasi - After your tour of Pamukkale Natural Park, Hierapolis Ancient City, and Laodicea Ancient City, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadasi.

Kusadasi Castle - This charming Byzantine fortress stands on the causeway-connected Guvercin Adasi (Pigeon Island) and has recently been renovated. * This site is not included in the tour. You can visit it independently after being dropped off at your hotel in Kusadasi.

Hot Air Balloon Ride (INCLUDED) -

Cappadocia Balloon Tours - Hot Air Balloon Ride (INCLUDED): Prepare for a unique experience in Cappadocia! You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to the balloon site to watch the balloon being prepared for flight. The flight occurs at sunrise, with the pilot ascending to a comfortable altitude of about 700 to 1000 meters above ground level. From this height, you will admire the beauty of Cappadocia below. During certain parts of the flight, pilots can fly as low as 1 meter above the rock formations, offering perfect photo opportunities. The total activity lasts approximately 3 hours, with the flight itself lasting about 60 minutes. A champagne celebration concludes the flight. After the balloon ride, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cappadocia.

• For your accommodation in Kusadasi during this trip, the pre-planned hotels are “Efe Boutique Hotel” and “Charisma De Luxe Hotel.” When booking, you can select either one. If these hotels do not have availability for standard or superior rooms on your travel dates, the local tour operator may substitute them with equivalent hotels.
• If you would like to connect this trip to Cappadocia instead of return to Istanbul, this option is available to you. If you want to benefit from this opportunity, you have to book the option of “Gold Package”. After you prefered flight from Izmir to Cappadocia, there will not be right about return flight to Istanbul. Also, the arrival airport transfer will be provided by the local tour operator in Cappadocia.
• The local tour operator will email your e-tickets for domestic flights three days prior to your departure. You won’t need to print the tickets for domestic flights. Your passport and the reservation number on the tickets will be sufficient for check-in.
• The local tour operator may need some passport details to book your flight tickets. If you do not provide the requested information, your domestic flight tickets may not be booked.
• You are allowed 15kg luggage + 8kg cabin bag per person for each domestic flight(s). If you need more luggage capacity, please let the local tour operator know. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the 15 kg luggage limit.
• If your return hotel is different than pick-up hotel, please inform that detail immediately. If you inform that detail after organised your flight tickets, the local tour operator can request extra cost because of the distances between the airports and some hotels.
