Fascinating day trip to Troy! - For those interested in Troy and its history, this trip must go on your list of things to do while in Turkey. Yes, it is a very long day, however, well worth it! Our guide Beyza was fantastic and extremely well educated on the history of Troy and the fascinating archeological excavation of it. He provided a knowledgable and insightful journey through the magnificent history and many levels of Troy. Our drivers to and from Troy were very safe and got us there great time. This day trip was well organized with more than adequate amounts of time allotted to breaks, coffee stops, and lunch (which was included in the fee). We thoroughly enjoyed this day trip! It was great! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Well worth the journey - Our day trip to Troy was excellent. Although it’s a long day, the organisation made it feel smooth and relaxed, with thoughtful breaks along the way and a very good lunch. The ferry crossing was beautiful and added a lovely change of pace. The tour of Troy itself was fascinating — rich in history, well explained, and far more atmospheric than we expected. A truly rewarding experience and well worth the journey.

Troy day trip from istanbul - It’s a long trip but very comfortable. Burak the tour guide is very knowledgeable and has insider scoop on ongoing archeological works. We went to the museum as well as we had time. 100% recommended!!

Fascinating and thought-provoking Troy tour - This was a fabulous day. The transportation from Istanbul makes for a long day but we knew that in advance so that’s not a surprise and no problem. The lunch was very nice, the ferry ride to the Asian side of Turkey and to Troy was breathtaking, and then the Troy site was amazing. The tour guide Hasan did a great job explaining the history and archaeology of the site and it was intriguing and fun! Great tour and would recommend it to those interested in history and mythology. Lots of great stories accompanied the walkabout of the site.

Nice experience - This is a good experience. It is a good company, I believe and they try to accommodate your requests. The vehicle was in good condition and lunch (my option was vegetarian) was very nice . But the guide could improve some guiding skills in explaining things a bit more clearly.

My day in Troy - The tour in Troy was for me the realization of a dream and the whole day went smoothly and easily: from picking up in the morning, everything perfectly synchronized, to lunch at the restaurant, boarding the ferry in Eceabat and finally arriving at the desired destination. The guide that accompanied us during the visit to the site was exhaustive and proved absolutely competent and helpful. Thanks to the whole organization for this unforgettable experience!

Overrated Tour in a Hot Humid Van - Our experience on this tour was unfortunately very disappointing, particularly given that it was also the most expensive tour we have taken. The drive to Troy, which lasted approximately 4–6 hours each way, was in a van without air conditioning during hot and humid conditions. Only the front windows could open (driver and tour guide windows), which provided minimal to no relief to the people in the back. The rest of the windows could not open. This made the interior very stuffy and the ride was bumpy enough that one passenger felt nauseated and chose to leave the tour early. We also considered doing the same due to how uncomfortable it was, but chose to stick it out to see Troy, a once-in-a-lifetime event for us. The ferry crossing itself was smooth; however, the restrooms onboard had a noticeable odor. Upon arrival in Troy, we were surprised to find that the replica structure differed from what had been advertised. It appeared much simpler than expected. Also, much of the tour focused on the ruins, but our tour guide did not seem fully confident in the information and kept forgetting facts. TL;DR - The journey was long, hot, and uncomfortable. What we saw fell short of what we expected. My husband who was the most excited about going to Troy and is a huge fan of history noted that all of this could have been seen on a YouTube video and it would've been better.
