Great 11 days Turkish trip with perfect experiences except for the confused airport pickup - I booked this 11 days (1 day free traveling in Istanbul) Turkish trip for family senior members and they are 76 and 75 years old couple. The whole 11 days trip arrangement is started from Istanbul with 3 days, flew to Cappadocia and stayed for 2 nights, then 3 nights at Kadasasi, where they have visited pamukkale, EPHESUS and Pergamon as well as other famous ancient natural and cultural places of interests, Almost all hotels are great with facilities and environment except for the meals in one hotel (hotel in Kudasasi) is not pretty recommended since hotel facility is a little old and meals are not sufficient with diversities. Transportations coach is brand new and very clean, English speaking tourist guide is very knowledgeable with sites introduction and considerate for every day trip arrangement. The organizer Erkan is very responsive with ad-hoc questions and emergencies. Since my family didn't have local mobile No. so we can only communicate for urgencies via email, especially there is 5 hours time difference between Beijing and Istanbul, even this, the whole trip is well organized and smoothly transferred from one city to next. Overall my family is very satisfied with Erkan's agency's service only one suggestion that the airport pickup in Istanbul is really hard to find since the pickup person is not even at exit gate, he is standing by the sidewalk and you need go out the airport and cross the road to look for the person to pickup you, hope this can be improved since this brings confuses and we wait at the exit gate 1 more hour to look for our names.

Safe, fun, knowledgeable experience - I was traveling solo, and I felt safe and confident. The owner, Erkan, arranged all accommodations, transfers, and daily trips. Also, he always answered my questions via What’s up application.

Very Disappointed by Scam Stops — Otherwise Good Tour Structure - We recently completed a multi-day tour package across Turkey arranged by this company. On the surface, it seemed like a great structure: they organized the hotels, airport pickups, intercity transfers, and scheduled day tours at major sites. The pickups and transfers were generally great and reliable. The hotels themselves were mostly excellent (perfect locations and good service), and when we had an issue with one hotel's rooms, they did respond quickly and moved us to a better one — so credit where it's due. However, the biggest hidden issue travelers need to be warned about is the systemic funneling into shopping scams. Despite the constant early starts and pressure to be “on time,” (with guides badgering our phones a full half hour before the scheduled time) a large chunk of each day was wasted being steered into pre-arranged shopping stops: Jewelry stores selling synthetic stones at luxury prices Leather jacket "factories" (with laughable fake fashion shows) Ceramic shops (in areas where, if you simply google it, you'll find that its not even known for ceramics) Stone sellers (with stones not even from turkey) Turkish delight candy/grocery shops (mostly fine, but pathetically overpriced) These were not authentic cultural experiences — they were thinly disguised hard-sell operations at best (and blatant scams at worst), where tour guides and companies clearly earn commission from tourist spending. The jewelry stop was especially blatant — we later verified the stones were synthetic despite being sold as rare, natural Sultanite. When we asked for certification, they admitted they had nothing legitimate to offer. Thankfully, chargebacks are helpful to gullible travellers. It’s not just the organized stops either. Even random "friendly locals" (taxi drivers, hotel people) recommending baths, restaurants, or shops were often part of this commission/tourist upsell game. Nearly every unsolicited (even solicited) suggestion seemed tied to someone making a commission — at the expense of real, honest discovery of local experiences. To make matters worse, our tour operator actually left us behind for being less than 10 minutes late one day (the same day they wasted an hour and a half with the most blatant gemstone scam)— even though huge parts of the day were wasted on shopping scams they forced on us. It revealed just how little customer care mattered to locals once the trip was underway. How the package works: The company organizes the backbone — hotels, transfers, tour slots — but the daily guides are independent contractors. Some guides were great. Others clearly saw tourists as wallets to be steered. Quality of experience varied wildly depending on the day and guide (some were genuinely nice). Each day with a tour, you will have a lunch included, that is 'local'- but at a place that all tour groups use as a cafeteria. The quality of the food was terrible at these spots. (again, there are exceptions- in istanbul our guide took us to his favorite local eatery with fantastic dishes) A huge point travelers MUST understand: It’s entirely possible to go through the whole trip without realizing what’s happening. If you’re trusting, inexperienced, or simply tired from travel, the stops can feel like part of the tour. That’s why there are positive reviews. People often don't realize they were overpaying massively or wasting time until much later — if ever. If you're considering this package: The structure (hotels, transfers, general routing) is solid. But you would be far better off using that structure and choosing your own taxi guide or independent local operator for each day. Use trusted friends, online reviews (from multiple sources), and discern what is a sale vs a recommendation. Skip the pigeonholed shopping stops. Pick your own shopping (turkish leather is actually great and cheap at the right spots!). Find your own food. Hire a licensed guide who works for you, not on commission. It’s absolutely worth the extra effort and money to take control of your trip — because otherwise, you’ll waste precious time, energy, and hard-earned money being funneled into scams. Turkey is an incredible country, but trust carefully, ask questions, and protect your itinerary. My favorite day of all was when we had an extra free day in Sirince- out of this tourist bubble constructed by the company. You deserve better than this.
