Pamukkale Thermal Pools - After visiting the Hierapolis Ancient City, guests will have 60-75 minutes of free time to explore Pamukkale’s natural beauty and swim in the white travertines - thermal pools (or Cleopatra’s pool for an additional fee).

Cleopatra Pools - Above the Pamukkale white travertine pools lies a spectacular location fed by the same hot springs. Here, guests can bathe in the same waters Cleopatra once enjoyed! A modern spa facility allows for a relaxing experience in these historic healing waters. Unlike the white water of the lower pools, the Antique Pool, favored by Cleopatra, is clear and warm. It was once topped by a Roman Temple to Apollo with a decorative roof supported by Doric columns. Imagine Cleopatra’s experience in its glory days.

Pamukkale - A stop at a local restaurant for lunch is included in the guided tour. After lunch, guests will experience a traditional handcraft workshop to learn about Pamukkale’s special stones and metals.

Pamukkale Tandem Paragliding - Pamukkale Paragliding Adventure (Optional Attraction – Available for an additional cost): Experience Pamukkale’s stunning white travertine and ancient Hierapolis, including the grand theater, from the air on this brief paragliding adventure with an experienced pilot. Guests will take off from a slope about 1,300 feet (400 meters) high, gliding over the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Laodicea - Excavations have uncovered artifacts dating from 3500 BC (Late Chalcolithic) to 3000 BC (Early Bronze Age). The city was named by Seleucid king Antiochus II for his wife Laodike in the 3rd century BC. Later controlled by the kings of Pergamum, it was bequeathed to the Roman Empire, thriving again from the 4th to 6th centuries. Its significance placed it among the Seven Churches of Revelation.

Kusadasi - After the semi-private guided tour in the Pamukkale district, guests will be transferred to their hotel in Kusadasi.

Kusadasi Castle - This charming Byzantine fortress stands on the causeway-connected Guvercin Adasi (Pigeon Island) and has recently been renovated. * This location is not included in the tour. Guests can visit on their own after being dropped off at their hotel in Kusadasi.

Semi-Private Tour to Ephesus and Its Surroundings / Flight to Cappadocia / Overnight at Cappadocia

Kuşadası - After breakfast at the hotel, the tour guide and driver will meet guests at the hotel reception in Kusadasi and drive them to Selcuk for a tour of Ephesus and its surroundings.

Ancient City of Ephesus - Ephesus was a significant harbor city in the ancient world and is mentioned in the Book of Revelations as one of the seven churches. Highlights include the Celsus Library and theater. Guests will visit the Celsus Library, Temple of Hadrian, Trajan Fountain, Grand Theater, Hercules Gate, Odeon, Ancient Toilets, and many important historical buildings in this UNESCO-listed ancient city.

Ephesus Experience Museum - At the Ephesus Experience Museum, guests will travel back in time and immerse themselves in the mystical atmosphere of the ancient world. With an innovative approach, the museum offers a mesmerizing experience where time breaks free from its static confines, bringing historical artifacts to life and presenting interactive visual spectacles that leave a lasting impression. (Admission is free with a ticket for Ephesus Ancient City)

Ephesus Terrace Houses - Guests will walk past the Terrace Houses during the tour, with the guide providing information about them. (This location is not included in the guided tour, but a short visit can be added if time allows.)

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The next stop is the last home of the Virgin Mary. Visitors will be captivated by the natural beauty surrounding the monument. Located on the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles from Ephesus, it was claimed at the third Ecumenical Council in 431 AD that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After its discovery, the Archbishop of Izmir declared it a pilgrimage site in 1892. Pope Paul VI visited and prayed there on July 26, 1967.

Selcuk - Guests will stop at a traditional Turkish restaurant for lunch. Afterward, they will experience a traditional handcraft co-operative to learn about the special arts of Turkish villagers.

The Temple of Artemis - Another tour stop is the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, located next to Ephesus ancient city.

Ephesus Archaeological Site - At the end of the Ephesus tour, guests will be transferred to Izmir Airport for their flight to Cappadocia. Note that direct flights from Izmir to Cappadocia are not available daily, so a flight with a layover in Istanbul may be necessary if no direct flight is available on the travel date.

Kayseri Erkilet Airport - Upon arrival at Kayseri airport, guests will be transferred to their hotel in Cappadocia.

• The Hot Air Balloon Ride will be operated in the Standard Category. This category offers an approximate flight duration of one hour, using baskets with a capacity of 20 to 28 passengers. Flight duration decisions are made by the pilot in accordance with the safety regulations of the Civil Aviation Authority. The total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours.
