• The Holy Monastery of the Philosopher - Next, the journey takes us deeper into the heart of the Peloponnese to visit Moni Filosofou, also known as the “Philosopher’s Monastery.” It is one of Greece’s oldest monasteries, founded in the 10th century. This monastery is divided into two parts: the Old Monastery, hidden within a cave, and the New Monastery, constructed in the 17th century. Here, visitors will also discover the secret school (Krifo Scholio) that operated during the Ottoman occupation, where Greek children were secretly taught language and history to preserve their heritage.
• Dimitsana - Enjoy free time and an overnight stay in Dimitsana, a delightful mountain village rich in history and natural beauty. • Agia Theodora - After enjoying the beauty of Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, the tour proceeds to one of Greece’s most unique religious and natural wonders – the Church of Saint Theodora of Vasta. This small chapel is famous for its miraculous phenomenon: 17 large trees grow from its roof, yet the structure remains intact without any visible roots! This awe-inspiring site has long been a place of pilgrimage, and visitors often leave amazed at the incredible sight of nature and faith coexisting harmoniously.
